Líneas ácidas crudas, pitidos estremecedores, distorsión efervescente, voces turbias y una mezcla de patrones de patada arrolladores son solo algunos de los ingredientes clave que se muestran en este aplastante álbum de 5 pistas. Una vez más, encontrando un lugar único dentro del techno rítmico e industrial, con una atmósfera propia, NX1 está de regreso para sacudir la pista de baile hasta su núcleo. Raw acid lines, earth-shaking bleeps, fizzing distortion, murky vocals and a melange of sweeping kick patterns are just some of the key ingredients on display over this crushing 5 tracker album. Once again finding a unique place within hard-edged rhythmic techno and industrial, with an atmosphere all of its own, NX1 are back to shake the dancefloor to its core. Comes on black marbled vinyl in a stickered outer sleeve.

Third summary compilation Cultro Sub Costa released by Prague based industrial/noise/techno crew Wrong follows up the first two tapes Suspicion of Doubt (2017) and Occasions to Sin (2018) and now represents the 2019-2024 timeframe. Old tracks meet new ones, foreign names meet local artists and genres clash on this double tape. 

A side starting with dreamlike intro nervousness of Bernardino Femminielli setting up the tone, followed by feverish ASMR trap-trip of Okitap, Oil Thief’s groovy synth-noise, dirty punk-electro cuts of Kabal and HANGMAN, Swordsmith’s heavy cyber dancefloor mover and closing with Vein Data and his overdrive guitar electro ballad.

Side B is filled with abstraction and weirdness and opening with cinematic industrial ambient of Amethyst, then turning tides into more rhythmic territory with occult vibe of Espectra Negra, lo-fi hypnotic synth drama of Christophe Clébard, screwed rhythmic madness of Carrageenan and ambient melancholy of Kult Masek.

Side C starts by No Nation dealing power electronic blow, with following tight electro rumble of JNKR, Blush Response with his sharp and hasty broken techno, Filmmaker’s dirty grind, Ireen Amnes with her synth driven coldness, trancy tragic of Destruction Derby and EBM goes trance track by HKKPTR.

Compilation is closing on side D with last two guests: STATIQBLOOM and his apocalyptic techno monster and Zuzana Hakl with speed electro dizzyness. And apart from them the last side belongs to Wrong crew: HYΛEN, Trauma, C4AT and The Undertaker’s Tapes.

'From our Future Selves' is Berlin-based label ygam’s first non-profit various artists compilation. This 12-tracks gathering was put together to support the organization 'Friends of the Earth' in their aim at challenging the current model of economic and corporate globalization, while promoting solutions that help to create environmentally sustainable and socially just societies. All proceeds from the album will be donated directly to them. In its drive to raise environmental awareness and inspire togetherness, this compilation also shares a sonic facet only slightly explored by the imprint so far: the dance floor's rhythmical occurrences. Indeed, through their various contributions extending from power electronics and heavy bass deconstructions to dense techno cuts, artists propose a wide variety of approaches to club-oriented music and ways for bodies to engage in cadenced investigations.
