CYM, the pseudonym of Maciej C, has been a vibrant presence in the Polish electronic music scene since 2007. Besides performing at events both within the country and abroad, CYM collaborates with a friend amd DJ Mariusz Krakowiak on the Expected Gates project, established in 2018. Initially associated with a slower tempo, Maciej blended music from progressive and tech genres. After years of exploring his style, CYM transitioned to a more intense sound, ranging from groove techno to Hard Techno and Schranz, a motivation that continues to drive him today. Drawing inspiration from artists like O.B.I, Svetec, Hadone, Kobosil, Paula Temple, and DJ Ogi, CYM is also a budding producer working hard to establish himself in the international music industry. He acknowledges that success takes time, a sentiment he firmly believes will undoubtedly come.

CYM is also involved as a manager in "szukam techno," one of Poland's largest portals uniting artists, promoters, and fans in the techno scene. Alongside his fiancée and DJ partner Sylad, Maciej has orchestrated numerous events across Poland and ventured beyond its borders, delivering sets in cities such as Warsaw, Kraków, Łódź, Gdynia, Manchester, London, Birmingham, Halifax, Cheltenham, and the Dutch city of Eindhoven.

Having shared stages with artists like 999999999, Hadone, Parallax, Noemi Black, Deas, Angelo Mike, Under Black Helmet, Miro Pajić, and many others, CYM has played a significant role in the pulsating realm of electronic music. Furthermore, CYM boasts a collection of podcasts recorded for both domestic labels and international ones, including Ukrainian 666666_label, and Polish TechnoNavigator, Beats Donor, and Dirtystuff records.
