The Hills We’ve Chosen is the seventh act of rebellion, an all-gender diverse production. The record unites Linn Elisabet’s transgressive techno productions with Rå’s eclectic poetry, portray-ing and reimagining trans, non-binary and queer lives. The Hills We’ve Chosen is released in a limited 12” format, where each cover is uniquely designed by Farvash, in a three-layer transparent and holographic celebration of gender-diverse beauty and interconnectedness. Among the guests of the release we find multidisciplinary artist and Bpitch affiliate Metaraph, No Gender head AngelKarel, and Hybral, who runs the FLINTA-centering collective Subverted in Berlin

Holldën completes his hat-trick of Kuiper Noise releases in 2022 with this fast-beating, rogue-sounding, heart-rending beast of an EP, fueled by 5 epic tracks which place it as an unrivaled object of devotion in the Portuguese producer's body of work.

Deliberate or not, the whole record plays like a kick in the teeth of an industry mired in its own vices, showcasing Holldën at his loosest and most creative, as he delivers blow after blow of seizure-inducing modern dancefloor techno.

While an emotional streak ran through his earliest works, here it comes into play not to subdue the underlying rawness of the music, but to reveal to the world its passionate, amphibian, almost fiercely humane soul.

It's hard to listen to Would I Lie? and not think of it as an homogeneous story, with each track teasingly evoking the former and then blooming into a unique language of its own, from Born Left Footed 's disturbing metal riffs to I Need A Ride Not A Funeral 's lustful voice drop offs, from Airborne Mikado 's playful narrative to Club Gummy Positive 's hypno-groovy journey, or the epic closer discharge of You Bought 9 Modulars.

Twist it, turn it, knead it as you may, it never fails to bounce back to its original form: that of a sexy and ruthless wrecking ball, forever defiantly spinning before the beholder.
