Portuguese techno maker @lewisfautzi is here again with his very own recipe about how the music of the future should sound like for his new Intense Mechanism EP. Listen to the premiere of the titular track from the new EP now.

"Intense Mechanism" is the first song on the B-side of the album, which instantly puts listeners in a galactic mood with one bar arpeggiated sounds, modulated wisely running over a blurred and distorted drum line.

His style has evolved to harsher territories lately, with distortion appearing as one of the main components in this compilation, shining through in the other three tracks as well. The Intense Mechanism EP will be available in both digital and vinyl formats.

Fossil Archive is the label from London-based artist Roberto, as he explores a new moniker and imprint in the same instance. Featuring quality collaborations with the likes of DJ Rolando, STERAC aka Steve Rachmad, Roman Lindau, Jamie Anderson, and Robert Owens, there’s lots of exciting music seeing release.

Roberto aka Fossil Archive has an esteemed back catalogue that includes a recent album for Dense & Pika’s Kneaded Pains, Rekids RSPX, and Emmanuel’s ARTS amongst others.

For this DT:Premiere we selected the track titled “Trench” with a warehouse thump. Haunting hypnotics and an expertly patient, eerie suspense combine with stripped down, tribal tones to explore a less is more approach with delicious details.

Under A Primal Force is the newest release from the secretive PTTRNRCRRNT, a Belgian duo known for appearances on notable labels such as Kr!z’s Token, Pfirter’s MindTrip, TWR72’s Float and Fixon & Dig-it’s ANAØH to name only a few.

For this DT:Premiere we selected “Force 4” that’s a total groove machine. Juddering stabs create an unnerving hook as the tension builds expertly through drones of texture and a killer crescendo making this an essential, brooding juggernaut.

For their 7th release, .inphase is proud to introduce Diepzeebeest, a talented artist from Rotterdam. Unveiling his full potential on a machine live impro, he navigates us through the intricate patterns of abyssal techno soundscapes that are characterized by abstract, imaginary, and mental elements. 

The EP is also accompanied by a remix from Tiefton, an emerging artist who is recently establishing himself in the German techno renewal, as well as a second remix from Pause, a member and co-founder of the .inphase label.

Escape - a track I’ve held close for over a year - is finally here, alongside five unique remixes that reinterpret its techno core through diverse lenses.

Each remix brings its own flavor: MAED’s take channels the pulse of contemporary hardtechno and bouncy trance, NO_NAME_MAN, a close friend and master of relentless sound, pushes the limits with a brutal, hard-as-nails rendition. Meanwhile, zner - a seasoned drummer and longtime collaborator - infuses the track with intricate drum and bass rhythms, giving it a dynamic twist. Lastly, my own drum and bass project, minced, flips the track into a fast-paced, energetic reimagination.
