SUBSTENCIA is a musician, producer and DJ based in Paris. Her music-loving background soon led her to get involved in the electronic scene in various forms: labels, webzines, and event organization. 

Since 2017, she has been creating dark industrial techno music productions, infused with a lot of cinematics, collages, noise, released on with several EP's, compilations and remixes on labels as Instinkt, Coup, Subverted, Culture of Violence, Durch, Drec, Glanz + Elend, or Swedish label Kallkällan where she released in 2022 her third EP supported by many international artists.

Highly personal and instinctive, her approach to music has developed over the years through constant practice and listening. Pure industrial music, dark ambient, neofolk, 90’s techno and baroque music: her many influences give to her DJ sets a cinematic, organic and intense dimension.
SUBSTENCIA regularly shares her passion for music across France, and has performed at parties and festivals such as Château Perché and FIFIB in Bordeaux, as well as iconic clubs in Europe, including Tresor in Berlin, Elipamanoke in Leipzig and Moog in Barcelona.

Since 2021, she has been part of the post-industrial noise duo Kabocha, who released their first EP, 'Human Exceptionalism', on their own label in April 2023 and they played several live performances in Paris.
Recently she launched the project Rust, a new webzine dedicated exclusively to alternative electronic music, with interviews, reviews, DJ charts, and more.

This month we are excited to preset our beloved friends ADERAL.

Born in Reggio Emilia, Nico and Reda created ADERAL, an electronic duo exploring sound with no fixed rules. Since 2016, they have been experimenting through DJ sets, A/V live performances, art installations, and sound design, turning their synergy into a sonic quest.
Their music, blending techno, breakbeat, and drum and bass, flows between sharp rhythms and hypnotic atmospheres. Their abrasive identity moves beyond boundaries, constantly seeking new forms of expression.
Connection is the driving force behind their journey: meeting like-minded artists, forging bonds, and creating spaces where those who feel different can come together under one roof.

ADERAL deliver a DJ set that captures their vision of techno, free from formulas or expectations. It kicks off with a broken beat techno vibe—edgy rhythms and dark atmospheres setting the tone. As the energy builds, the sound shifts into a more driving techno groove, blending different styles in an instinctive and playful way.
Along the way, they weave in some of their own ADERAL productions, keeping the selection raw and personal. The set peaks with a stripped-down, high-energy sound, keeping things direct and powerful until the very end.

SØNO.CAST 011 - ADERAL

Warp Dissonance  nos presenta su décima referencia la cual viene firmada por el artista alemán Rostøm.
Areal Y EP es el nombre que Rostom da a este trabajo, compuesto de cinco cortes de techno intenso.
1. El lanzamiento comienza con "Areal Y", track con el que el artista da nombre a su primer trabajo para Warp Dissonance. Un buen juego de rítmica desde el primer compás por el que transcurren percusiones y un pad modulado creando todo el conjunto un ambiente hipnótico muy inteligente.
2. Existenz es la segunda referencia de este trabajo. Con un presente ritmo de Kick y un subgrave pesado, al que lo acompañan ritmos metálicos con reverberación y fx haces que Existenz nos transporte a ese lado hipnótico al que el productor nos quiere recrear en todo su desarrollo. 
3. Kollision corte con un robusto grove que lo acompaña en todo su transcurso, un arreglo progresivo y ambientes muy sutiles hacen que Kollision sea una buena herramienta para la mezcla.
4. Nebel esta referencia nos lleva a ese lado más experimental y misterioso pero sin perder la rítmica de baile. Las texturas, ambientes y arreglos de pad emulando voces hacen que combinen con la intensidad de la pista. 
5. Trugschluss. Otro sabio trabajo del artista con el que cerramos este lanzamiento. Un trabajo con un sonido ácido y roto muy potente desde su in
