Where that track explored personal connection, "Hack The System" speaks to a collective resistance and the need for systemic change, aligning with Muniz’s roots in underground culture and activism.

Berlin’s genre-blending powerhouse Dina Summer - comprised of Kalipo (also known from electro-punk outfit Frittenbude) and the dark disco duo Local Suicide - unleashed their second full-length album Girls Gang earlier this year via Iptamenos Discos.
Spanning 11 tracks, the record is a bold and versatile exploration of themes like empowerment, outsider identity, impermanence, nostalgia, and human connection. While their debut leaned heavily into club-ready sounds influenced by italo disco and ’90s electro, Girls Gang embraces a broader sonic spectrum, weaving in elements of new wave, post-punk, and synth pop.

Following a string of standout remixes from DJ Hell, Damon Jee, Phunkadelica, and The Populists, the trio returns with another round of reworks by a circle of befriended artists.

Among them, French DJ/producer and Elektric Bazaar co-founder Karla Lynch delivers a driving reinterpretation of Hypnotized. With pulsing basslines, hypnotic repetition, and stark Berlin-style vocals, her remix heightens the original’s tension - amplifying its themes of desire, seduction, and surrender with immersive intensity tailored for the darkest corners of the rave.

PREMIERE : Dina Summer - Hypnotized (Karla Lynch Remix) [IPTAMENOS DISCOS]

METAPHYSICAL proudly presents Velvet Capture — a powerful yet poetic collaboration between Boy Oh Boy, Paons, and the haunting voice of Stella von Lingen.

Built around delicate piano chords and Stella’s introspective vocal performance, Velvet Capture begins as a melodic, emotionally charged journey. The track seamlessly blends singer-songwriter sensibilities with modern melodic house elements, thanks to the distinct production styles of Boy Oh Boy and Paons.

Boy Oh Boy is the alias of German artist Marco Wagner, known for his emotionally resonant melodic house tracks that blend harmony and groove. Paons, the project of Patrick Steppons — founder of the LUKINS label and member of the T.M.A collective — brings a dynamic, narrative-driven sound shaped by years of exploration across studios, clubs, and live stages. Stella von Lingen, a classically trained pianist and songwriter, adds cinematic depth and melancholic beauty with her signature vocal style. Together, the trio crafts a sound that bridges elegance and energy — perfect for twilight drives, emotional dancefloors, and introspective moments alike.

The accompanying Club Mix reimagines the original with dancefloor dynamics: harder synths, powerful drum work, and a surge of late-night energy. Designed for peak-time sets, this version brings Velvet Capture from the car stereo straight into the club’s heart.

Set for release on August 1, 2025, Velvet Capture is a modern melodic house cut that invites both movement and reflection — a quintessential METAPHYSICAL moment.

Here's the recording of my set at Sisyphos on July 6. It was a very nice sunday with a lovely weather and I was closing the Strand stage outside from 7 til 10 PM.

Amount & RSS Disco join forces for two singles on Mireia Records. What took them so long, you probably ask yourself. Both parties are known for their knack of inducing bliss and hypnotic states on dance floors far and wide.

....  in front of me where all my friends dancing two hours next to a fantastic soundsystem and so many helping hands on our beloved open air floor 'Welldchen'. It was the first time singing to gogis voice still shaky but i felt so rich in emotions during it. Two times i got dizzy from Duduk playing because of its heavyness and my inner excitement, but we go make it through.

Since his emergence in 2010, Madben's melodic, Detroit-inspired techno evolved, with various releases on Caduceus, Astropolis Records, Off Recordings, Inflyte and Bedrock. Nowadays, the Paris-based artist remains a key figure in France's new generation of techno producers, with an upcoming debut LP on Astropolis Records.  Swinging from atmospheric sounds to techno, Madben produces an alchemy of rave anthems, hardware material and groovy, emotional music. With support from France's favourite Laurent Garnier, Manu le Malin and Rebekah Warrior, Fréquence(s) unveils his skillfull, mature universe.

12 tracks compose the album. The opening 'Space Bubbles' carries a cinematic, ethereal touch designed for dancefloor, from dusk till dawn. 'Mouvement circulaire' sets out a slow hypnotic rythm, leading to "Narcotica" and its warm melodies. 'MG's Groove', produced with master Laurent Garnier uncovers Madben's house moves, percussive beats and distorted synths. 'Reminiscence' and 'Stripes' wink at Madben's earlier melodic techno inprints, while 'Don't Lose the Beat' uses old school vocal as the LP's boiling point. Modern techno vision is underlined with tracks such as 'Tom & Tom' and 'The Struggle', both waving between UK inspirations, aerial sounds and Ben's original signature. Featuring with Manu le Malin and Rebekah Warrior, ‘Grief, Dance to Death' stands out from the rest, swaying betwixt French vocals and rave spirit, whereas the album’s last piece, ‘Lunar Park’, ends the journey with a gripping ethereal melody.

Madben - Tom & tom

'Via' is the 9th full length album by Vince Watson, returning to his House & Techno roots and delivering 12 shimmering tracks for every moment. 

Via's story began on the road. The concept came through Vince's touring between gigs by car and train in mainland Europe. He wanted a driving, deep, musical sound palette to immerse himself in between gigs and could not find any current appropriate techno album he wanted to listen to. 

So he did the next best thing...he created one. 

The album reflects the relentless movement from one gig to the next, giving insight into the artists mind whilst cooling off from one show and seeking adrenalin for the next. 

Over 12 tracks, 'Via' brings that signature deep sound that VW fans have loved since Mystical Rhythm first appeared in 1999. 

'Via' is also the first in many new projects this year from Vince Watson. 2018 see's Vince reserve his current house and techno production for his own name, however his other musical output (Electronica, Piano, Ambient, Jazzy) will be broken up into several different artists names in order to focus more in each genre.
