Paul Régimbeau, aka Mondkopf, is a household name among the edgiest international festivals such as ATP, LUFF, Bozar or CTM, post-industrial warehouses of northern europe, industrial parties (Berghain in Berlin, Kaos in London) as well as more solemn atmospheres of churches, museums (BAL, Pompidou Center in Paris) or auditoriums (Philarmonie de Paris, Lyon’s Auditorium).

Mondkopf has put forward his talents as a live artist, giving his melodic ambient music a power and a rager inspired by extreme metal. After a long period of solitary evolution, he has developed in this last years multiple collaborative projects, with Charlemagne Palestine, Saaad(in Foudre), Autrenoir, Oiseaux-Tempête, the japanese black metal band Vampilia and the noise american artist Pete Swanson (in VMO), libanese guitarist Charbel Haber (in Good Luck In Death).

After co-founding In Paradisum records in 2011, he has been running since 2018 the record label Nahal Recordings with Frederic D. Oberland, gathering a community of outsiders around a shared passion for live improvisation, the mix of rock structures and sound synthesis, and cinematographic atmospheres.

His last compositions, gathered on How deep is our love, can be linked to the epic dimension of Rafael Anton Isarri, the extended temporality and meditative qualities of Pauline Oliveiros or Sarah Davachi, the work on analog textures of Mind Over Mirrors. But the kind of purity and innocence glowing from the record, which have been the signature of his music from more than ten years, are nothing but his very own.

He is a sound designer & modular wizard, you will find him on labels like Sonic Groove, Aufnahme + Wiedergabe, his own MEGASTRUCTURE_, Ant-zen, Total Black and his distorted soundscapes enrich collabs like DRAX RESPONSE, KONKURS, HAKAI, AVM & IMPULS CONTROLS.

Noise-driven techno, industrial and traces of EBM characterise his sound but even through this wall of distorted synths and glitchy beats, he still manages to keep you on the edge of your seat and like his bio states: somehow magically make your feet tap along or, at considerable volume, rave. So without further ado...

Sounds From NoWhere welcomes aboard the Swedish electronic musician Peder Mannerfelt (Peder Mannerfelt Produktions / Avian).

Peder Mannerfelt first slipped onto the radar with straightforward house and techno under the name 'The Subliminal Kid'. 
Over the next decade, his sound underwent an extraordinary transformation. 
He began making textural, freeform electronic music with Malcolm Pardon as Roll The Dice. 
On his own, he crafted dynamic and creatively unhinged tracks that contain all the best energy of club music and none of its stylistic constraints.
His mix for our series is just an unpredictable journey through his eccentric musical universe.

"Recorded live in summer 2019 in the Berlin studio of Chris Jarman (aka Kamikaze Space Programme / Raiden) on a Soundcraft Spirit 'Studio' 24-8-6 mixing console, “Época Dub'd” is a slowed down, dubbed out and edited mixtape of tracks from Lakker's 2019 R&S album “Época” and their extensive back catalogue. The tracks have been rearranged and reconstructed, processed through classic delays and FX and stretched into new forms far from the original versions.

Inspired by dub mixing techniques, granular processes of stretching sound and DJ Screw's “chopped and screwed” mix concept, “Época Dub'd” is a continuous mixtape in two parts spread over two sides of a limited hand numbered cassette, a journey exploring the arts of live remixing and sound design."

Knife presenta a Dim Light, propietario de un sello discográfico y DJ con sede en Berlín.
Siendo un nerd de la música desde su juventud, se dedicó a escuchar música electrónica hace unos 20 años. Después de varios años de practicar solo, comenzó a lanzar mezclas en línea alrededor de 2011.
En 2015 lanzó Nemorous Records junto con Anja Zaube y luego realizó algunos conciertos seleccionados en eventos como Apathy en Grießmühle, Tokonoma en Kassel oder Smallroom en Bielefeld, compartiendo los platos con artistas como Talker y Oake.
En 2017, finalmente comenzó su propia creación, Voidance Records, que hasta ahora ha lanzado 5 EP y 2 cintas y 2 presentaciones en 2019. Voidance Records se ocupa de las variedades más oscuras del género de la música electrónica, presentando a artistas nuevos y consagrados como Meer, Chafik Chennouf & Katsunori Sawa y Llimbs, por nombrar solo algunos.
Las influencias musicales de Dim Light abarcan géneros como ambient, black metal, música electroacústica o techno, que también se reflejan en sus sets.

Being a music nerd since his early youth, he got into listening to electronic music around 20 years ago. After several years of practicing all by himself he started releasing online mixes around 2011.
In 2015 he launched Nemorous Records together with Anja Zaube and after that played a few selected gigs at events like Apathy at Grießmühle, Tokonoma in Kassel oder Smallroom in Bielefeld, sharing the decks with artists like Talker and Oake.
In 2017 he finally started his own brainchild Voidance Records, so far releasing 5 EPs and 2 tapes and hosting 2 showcases in 2019. Voidance Records deals with the darkest strains of the electronic music genre, hosting new as well as established artists like Meer, Chafik Chennouf&Katsunori Sawa and Llimbs, to name but a few.
Dim Light‘s musical influences range from different genres like ambient, black metal, electroacoustic music or techno, which also reflects in his sets.

A.T.T.Corp is short for A True Terror Corporation, a project the two artists started together 4 years ago. Emerging from improvised sessions, the duo experimented over Industrial atmospheres merged with modern influences coming from metal, ritual to noise sonics.
