It was an amazing summer, we couldn't be happier to be back on stage and be able to perform our own music in front of happy crowds and friends again 👯‍♀️👯👯‍♂️

On October 8th, Treibsand was born, as we had the joy to host our own event at Beate Uwe, together with Fabian Krooss. We performed alongside amazing artists like Monkyman, Cioz, Yannek Maunz and Clara. It was very special to play in a Berlin club again after all this time 🐝 We're still buzzing from the amazing vibe!

Our new live set is the result of all the time we spent in our beloved studio in the past 1.5 years, flowing through our latest and upcoming releases from this year 🎶 The energy at Treibsand was really special, which we translated into our favorite live performance so far.

played a long set on Sunday  @ the formidable tent floor of the french art collective "Fer à Coudre", located in the center of a triangle of Luftschloss/Datcha/Palast der Republik. In front of it u could peek out a cute airplane with moving bird wings. Like in the years before we had  great fun together. Big thanks to everybody involved and to all people dancing and celebrating together.  I started around 10.30 and played until 15.30. This is the first part of the recording. The second part was also rocking with a lot of gipsy house and fine grooving techno but the recording failed... so enjoy what is here ...

Welcome to the second episode of Hakk i Plata

This episode is focusing on a genre that was, in its early days, an avant garde sound, but also came as a further development from all the minimal techno, glitch and house that flourished in Berlin and other cities containing well-known electronica environments, in the late 90's. This genre got the name, Micro house, which has short samples of many different instruments and vocals as its main characteristics, as well as smooth and simple loops that can go on and on; actually some micro house tracks last for 15-20 minutes with not much happening. 
It's hard to not come around the one and only Jan Jelinek, when one should talk about pioneers within this genre. And I'm proud to admit that he is taking a larger amount of tracks in this mix, which felt natural for me when the sound he created really defined what micro house was and still is (in my opinion).

I hope you will enjoy this mix and sit down to fall into the memory lane of historical electronica music. This is really a distinct and beautiful sound that should fit perfectly with the late autumn and coming winter.

Zu unserem dreijährigen Jubiläum freuen wir uns euch das Liveset eines ganz besonderen Künstlers präsentieren zu dürfen. Dave Echo produziert seine Sounds selbst und lässt so immer wieder aufs Neue, einzigartige und wundervolle Klänge entstehen die er liebevoll in seinen Sets arrangiert.

Dave Echo erkundet neue Tiefen des elektronischen Klangs und bleibt dabei seinem organischen Sound treu. Er mischt kühle mechanische Beats mit feinsten Gitarrenmelodien und klanglicher Detailverliebtheit.

Tanzbar und gleichzeitig zutiefst entspannt kommt seine Musik rüber. Und immer dieser Bass. Zur fetten pappigen Basedrum kommen schnelle komplexe Bassmelodien.
Bei Dave hat der Sound eine Dimension mehr.
