Synthesis is a creative Indo-Jazz ensemble that features the Bass Veena, a unique instrument co-created by Justin Gray and Canadian luthier Les Godfrey. This ensemble performs original compositions by Justin Gray that feature the Bass Veena alongside Tabla, Tibetan Singing Bowls, Saxophone and a variety of Indian percussion and drone instruments. Synthesis takes their audience on a unique sonic journey by sharing music that merges elements of Indian Raga music with contemporary creative and electronic music.
