Dream

This is my first attempt at writing a song in slack key tuning, a traditional style that originated in Hawaii in the 19th century. The style includes various finger-picking patterns and a variety of open tunings. This specific song is a work in progress and is in the tuning known as "D Wahine" (D A D F# A C# from low to high respectively). I've titled it simply "Wahine" [waa-heen] which is a Maori/Hawaiian word for woman.
