For this uplifting remix of 'Puss In Boots: The Last Wish'; I aimed to recreate the overall atmosphere and story of the film in a slightly different way in terms of structure and orchestration. This remix of the 2022 smash hit animated film was composed with samples from the film's soundtrack, dialogue, vocals and sound fx, including overdubs of 8 string ukuleles, double bass and fretless bass.

Rock On Dudes!

Here is a unique rock inspired remix of the underrated animated film: 'Rock Dog' (2017).

For this remix, I decided bridge the gap between Plunderphonics and Classic Rock. I wanted to throw in influences from a multitude of artists and rock styles from Rock 'n' Roll, to Punk, Alternative Rock. It was quite fun going out of my comfort zone as a jazz musician; exploring the production of making a rock track! Plus: Eddie Izzard's character 'Angus Scattergood' was a lot of fun to sample for the last chorus!

‘Help Us Find The Groove’ is a concept plunderphonics album in which the concept is in the title itself; What is my signature sound? 

It’s a personal expression of my experimentation of sampling from various different sources, but also sampling from my interest in improvisation and even some of my own recordings and previous tracks. Overall, it’s conveying the struggles of an artist finding their own sound, even if I’ve personally feel that I’ve found it!
