This song was written by my wandering years, as an ode to my Saturn's Return. The West is the direction of the descent into the underworld on the wheel of the directions. It's the mysterious place we are plunged into as a rite of passage into adulthood. It is in this place we dissolve and retrieve the hidden gems of who we become as an offering to the ecology of life.
