Artist Quote - "Tortured Soul’s frontman, John Christian Urich, discovered Fka Mash’s work while reviewing potential South African producers to collab with. He was struck by the artist’s sound and reached out in hopes of working together. “Lucky for me, he was down and created a really gripping remix”, says John Christian.

Having also been a fan of Atjazz’s productions and having a chance to meet the producer at a festival in South Africa, John Christian contacted him to work on the track. “I was certain he would come up with something great--which he, sure enough, did”, the artist comments. “I was also pleased to discover we share a pretty strong affinity; we each have a slightly dark and over-the-top sense of humour. It’s good to be able to crack some jokes when working together to keep the ball rolling.”

George John is an undiscovered talent from Schweinfurt, Germany. He came on our radar about a year ago and when we heard his amazing talent for funky songwriting and production - we had no choice but to release his new EP: Personal Bars.

George's sound is characterised by his amazing skills on the piano as he studied Jazz from a young age. The 7 track EP is ride through his personal affiliations with Jazz, Funk, Electro and 80's Synth Wave. How familiar these genres may sound to you; George's sound is unique and unmatched in the electronic music industry. His tracks take you on a journey of groovy, melodic and harmonic sections; each track has about 4 or 5 of them - and bridges with the wildest solos played on his acoustic or Rhodes piano.
