After 4 years of rave parties in Lyon, the Spiral Dance crew just gave birth to the Sous Traitance label.

Throughout its first compilation – a strong selection of up-and-coming producers –, the collective gathered 30 minutes of fiery and experimental breakbeat, considerably influenced by the ‘90s wild energy.

Yet, the 6-track Various goes beyond showcasing an obvious inheritance from the UK early-rave era, perfectly embodied by Antoine 80 and Shcuro contributions. The 12” vinyl also blends genres from the past 3 decades - in the true spirit of the current French underground djing style -, as Jonnnah and Penelope’s Fiance both from the contemporary drum n bass scene codes, while DJ 8.6 drops a mid-2010s industrial downtempo burner, and Yolek even sounds to be inspired by the nasty, raw atmospheres of 2000s hip-hop.

The illustrious Abu Ama lets loose on Accidental Meetings with a 9 track LP, manifesting his trademark distorted dubwise style, with traditional folk song throughout.

Following wzrdyAV's sublime 'Midnight Visions' we're so, so excited to welcome Abu to the label for AM002. An unbelievable artist and person, we're honoured to have him on AM.
Abu who lives in West Germany showcases his whole repertoire throughout the 9 tracks with a selection of new and old, past and present.

His field recordings are scattered over the album and his rumbling bass is ever present, traditional folk songs dip in and out of the album all brought together in Abu's signature dub-wise style.

Carrier, straye's debut release, is a trance-inducing trip through high-octane techno and half-time bass music. It sounds like the future, but it’s built for right now—where lines between are dissolving steadily, where hybridization is the crucial marker of potency. It opens with a heady half-time trek through deepest space, moves into fractalized downtempo territory, and then picks up the pace with uptempo arpeggiated bassline burners. DJ KMS's remix closes the record with deep house flair.
