Joseph S. Mawejje ('Joss Jjew') music work includes writing/producing/arranging music for self and co-artists, since the mid-1990's, starting 'Traxbox Audio Multimedia Studio Productions' in Namuwongo Kampala working with then pioneering Ugandan artists notably Da Hommies (Bamusakata/Mukwano Hit Albums), Emperor Orlando as well as mainstream and 'Gospel' groups (Late Tony Sengo's Badinaz, Light Rays, St. Augustine MUK and Good News Choir). In early 2000's he moved abroad for career purposes in the Oil and Gas profession and is currently UK-based, assisting albeit on part-time basis similar music projects.
As a seasoned keyboardist musician, his music incorporates a rich variety of styles ranging from roots afrobeat to smooth jazz, as well as unique fusions including the genre 'savannahsoul'. Samples of the artist's works avaialable via the links.
