I was contacted by Grant of ZZK and AYA Records a while ago to remix a new Ecuadorian artist he had been working with, Grant has a knack for finding unique South American sounds way ahead of everyone else so I was immediately curious.  After my first listen I knew there was something special about this song, sound, artist, label, the whole of it felt refreshing and vibrant. I got to work right away. After a Poolside gig I had a day off to hang out with Vito & Druzzi in their studio in Brooklyn where we added the 303 line, live percussion, rototoms and more to fill it out.
