From the moment these contrasting individuals met they started exploring the music industry in the broadest sense of the word and are known for their ability to smoothly blend influences of soul, jazz and disco with house music reminiscent to the early days. 

Experimenting with musical styles both new and old, Makèz quickly drew the attention of the Dutch house scene following their 2019 debut EP 'Different Planets'. Their sound soon crossed borders, now boasting releases on home-base labels Heist Recordings (Ams) and Let's Play House (NYC), with early support from established artists such as Seth Troxler, Chez Damier and Detroit Swindle. 

Fast-forward a year and they’re back, bigger and better than ever with ‘Levitation’, a brand new EP released on Lets Play House, featuring a rework of Folamour and Marc Bianco's 'If We Were Children Again'. Take a listen and hear the mix of musical tastes coming together, which is precisely what makes their dynamic so exciting.
