An old head on young shoulders, Cleanfield’s passion for music is deeply rooted in the rich history of Soul, Funk, Disco, and practically anything that will get those hips to move. He belongs to a new generation of musicians synthesizing the Detroit tradition and Neo-soul sounds into novel electronic gems - dug up by the likes of labels Outplay, Gents & Dandy's, Delve Deeper, Sub_Urban. Most recently House of Disco Records have taken a shine to Cleanfield where he takes the keys for the thirtieth release ‘Sunshy’ and lays down four tracks dripping in summer sun - available now at Traxsource.
