The Basement Boys and Baltimore house legend Teddy Douglas is our latest guest for Traxsource LIVE! and we can’t wait for you to hear what he’s whipped up for us.

A musically rich career would be an understatement, Teddy’s talent has seen him collaborate with some of the industry’s most notable names. Micheal Jackson, Crystal Waters, Erykah Badu, Groove Odyssey, Tribe, King Street, Nervous have all received Teddy’s production wizardry first hand, not to mention his incredible work steering the ship for Basement Boys records. 

But despite his many claims to fame, Teddy’s ears have always faced the future and have been tuned to the underground. Remaining true to his sound has built his reputation as one of the underground greats and he’s still pumping out high-quality releases to this day. His latest, ‘We Belong Together’ celebrates not only a staggering 100 releases for Basement Boys records but also a thirteenth year in the music business as an active recording label! The collaborative effort featuring Byron Stingley emits plenty of dance-floor forward energy and soul-touching moments that Teddy’s name has always remained synonymous with.

For his 60-minute mix, he pays tribute to the Basement Boys releases that shaped his career. Including tracks from Kenny Carpenter, Russell, Ann Nesby, Jasper Street Co, Fertile Ground, and a selection of his own tracks and remixes, this is the globally popular and indisputably big sound of Teddy Douglas.

In the end, its all about FreedomB. 
With influences directly from jazz, funk or soul, from the first house and Electronic rythms, FreedomB is in search of the constant groove that will make you dance from sun to sun, or from noon to morning. Endless sets laser focused on the dance floor and beats to a slow fire are the elements of an artist that has no respect to silence.
