Finally!

At long last, after quite a few requests, here's the follow-up to my 1st mix for House Dance Forever, which i did back in January 2018, over the years re-titled to "HOUSE MUSIC WILL NEVER DIE", from here-on shortened to HMWND.

This 2nd installment harbours 15 jammies; ranging from Garage to Techno to Afro House to Deeper Cuts to Gospel, as House Music embodies so many different styles and/or feelings, it would be a waste to stay in one pocket. 

Here's a good moment for a tiny disclaimer: this isn't your proper background house music, as I felt like incorporating a few tracks I tore up some dance floors with over the years (and myself too in the process), so at certain points the stuff goes. At least you're warned ;).

Lastly, but surely not least: this mix is dedicated to the memory of Phil Asher, who sadly left this planet in January 2021, and since The Great Reset was in full effect at the time, I never got around to do a proper tribute to the good man.  The two gems "Revolution = Solution" & the remix to Lisa Shaw's "Always" are done by him, the latter as a member of the Restless Soul collective. Phlash Forever!

Deep Site Vinylized return with a special 4 track 12" V/A release for those late summer nights, Marc Cotterell opens thing up with the organ­ powered garage infected ‘Sunset Vibes’. Synthesizer solos dominate the view while subtle Rhodes and B­3 phrases meander in the funky framework.Next up welcoming an old deep house favourite from Glasgow, Calum Walker of Fresh and Low delivering the beautifully understated ‘String Theory’ which builds like a cinematic theme tailor made for dance floors. Synths pulses and dramatic themes intermingle with subtle string lines laying boldly within driving rhythms.The flip side brings a return to Deep Site for Addex who comes on smooth and strong with ‘Blazing’, utilizing solid drums and bubbling percussive edges.
