8 years ago we started our camp Disco Knights and for our last voyage to bring our disco space ship to the playa, we thought what better way to celebrate and throw one of the best parties on the planet than having the legend Carl Cox https://soundcloud.com/carl-cox play a special sunrise house set for Disco Knights. What else can we say… one of the most charming DJs in the business. A musical ambassador and a veteran of acid house, a champion of techno, a dance music pioneer, label owner, King of Ibiza – you name it, Carl's been there and done it, never losing sight of his passions – playing music, breaking tunes, celebrating life, and more importantly, always playing the vibe on the dance floor and making people dance! This all was the perfect fit for the mission we embarked on 8 years ago; there are many amazing sound camps at Burning Man, but what we always tried to build and do different was to make DK all about the unique intimate vibe through the love vibrations that derived from the people that are willing to travel to the far side of the playa to party with us.

Disco Knights is honored to release the recording from a magical morning set from Carl Cox.  Carl nailed the sound and vibe this morning and Disco Knights family and friends were feeling it hard! Thank you, Carl! And thank you everyone who was there to make such a special morning!

This young producer and DJ from Spain is, without a question, one of the emerging talents to keep an eye on, regarding all that is happening in the electronic music scene. He has huge international projection and his inbred passion for music is more than proven. His devotion, since he was a teenager, towards machine-produced sounds – those that make you want to dance – has led him to dedicate most of his lifetime to music production, where his spotless technique combines perfectly with his sophisticated and rich taste for deep house sounds.

In November 2016, Vicious Magazine selected one of his works as one of the best Tech House / Deep House releases along with the music of world-known artists such as Maceo Plex, Henry Saiz and Steve Lawler. Mark has released music on imprints like Sol Selectas, Bondage Music, Akbal Music and more. As a DJ, his commitment is quite similar to what he does as producer and he has played in cities like Zurich and Ibiza.

He moves seamlessly between the rocky peaks of techno and house. However, it’s his cosmopolite, yet danceable, deep-minimal signature the one that fits better with his sonic comfort space. His call is to provoke motion from a solid and serious proposal. A soft but addictive groove, almost like velvet, and very organic; deep basslines are the ones that set the path to follow, a highly electronic leit-motiv in which emotion is the key; as well as falling into some sort of synthetic reverie, that drives us towards that magical state, in which consciousness is lost: there is no time, no space, only sounds.
