If you joined us at our first Monki & Friends session of the year back in February, you will already have been introduced to the upfront tones of emerging techno producer Billy Turner. He’s been getting a hefty load of support from the Radio 1 DJ in this time, both on tour as a regular fixture of Monki & Friends and he’s also got a release on the label of the same name about to drop this very week. 

He’s also gained the support of another respected name, Skream, who’s signed two EPs to his label Of Unsound Mind. These are packed with peak time killers that perfectly showcase Turner’s adeptness at building a gritty and powerfully engaging beat. 

While Turner’s output is increasingly garnering the respect of his peers, we’re also getting equally behind his sound here in Farringdon. Ahead of his Room Two set alongside Luke Slater and Lucy on 26/08, we got in touch with Turner to properly introduce him on the blog. Each week we’ll be delivering up 2 hours of the finest uninterrupted underground music, brought to you by your favorite online record store and showcasing the talents of our dedicated A&R team. Our Techno A&R Manager Jonny Marciano gets our heart pumping this week with the best techno sounds around. Celebrating their latest "Lucid Dream" release on Funk'n Deep Records, these Englishmen are always pushing the boundaries with their obscure, twisted, and fast paced sound.
