Some words from Treavor: 

I don't play Ecstatic Dance events often, but I've performed at several during the Ecstatic Awakenings Retreats hosted by the lovely Ronja Sebastian. I really love playing these events, because Ronja puts her full trust in me to achieve the one main goal of making people dance ecstatically. She doesn't put rules on me about how the set needs to go or what type of music I need to play, which is a huge reason I don't seek out gigs at e-dance events usually. She knows that I know who Im playing for and how to get them dancing! This past December 2018 the retreat took place in Bali which is one of my favorite places on earth! I happened to hit the record button on my set there and Im really happy with how it turned out. I hope you enjoy it too!!!

This compilation will be donating 100% of our proceeds to a very special non-profit, Amazon Mycorenewal Project. This inspired group of individuals is working to educate volunteers and indigenous people to utilize fungi in an effort to cleanse the pollution caused by the industrial petroleum extraction around the mouth of one of the most breathtaking rivers on our planet, the Amazon.

Music holds the expressions of our Ancestors in frequencies.  Passed down from drum to clapstick, oud, violin, wind and strings, note by note.  Played, stored and released are moments of their rich tribal re-treats.  Shearwater encircles the Earth, a bird in the ether, gathering and assembling the sounds into a story.  
In the dance, between ancient acoustics and evolved electronica, you can find and connect with them. 
Inside the deep bellydance bass, in the soulful, tribal rhythms; in the heart of their beat, they will collide you with sound. They are your ancestors. It is your heart beat, your feet, your expression.  
We will be ancestors and this is our story.  Shearwater has been on a flight... the rest is up to you.
