Written for my Music Composition class (MCOM 009).

For this assignment, I chose to transcribe one of my favorite ballads from the Cowboy Bebop universe, Pearls (written by Yoko Kanno). There was no sheet music available for this song, so I decided to start transcribing it! Although I was not able to finish because of time constraints, I was still able to write the Piano and Cello parts out. After writing the parts, I exported the MIDI file to Logic Pro, where I used their default Cello and Piano samples (and some added reverb) to make it sound pretty.

This song was transcribed entirely by ear, since sheets probably do not exist for this song (it was probably improvised).
