The song 'Take Five,' originally by Filo Machado, is one of the most iconic jazz standards, known for its unusual 5/4 time signature. Andruss transforms the track into a vibrant blend of house with a Brazilian Latin twist, creating an entirely new listening experience while still maintaining the essence of the original.

'Take Five' begins with a deep, pulsating bassline that drives the rhythm, merging seamlessly with Latin percussion elements that bring a tropical and dynamic atmosphere. The signature 5/4 rhythm is preserved but subtly adapted to flow more smoothly within the house genre, making the structure more danceable and accessible while still keeping the experimental spirit of jazz intact.

Soft guitar riffs are blended with accents that echo the original 'Take Five,' but with modern, enveloping vocals by Filó Machado. The Brazilian touch is evident through the use of instruments like samba drums, pandeiro, and cuíca, adding a distinctive and unique flavor, as if this version is transporting listeners to the vibrant streets of Brazil.

Ranked among 1001Tracklist's Top 100 Producers of the Year, Mexican DJ/producer Andruss brings a completely different sound with 'Take Five,' a track already supported by The Martinez Brothers, Marco Carola, Mochakk, Classmatic, and many more. He gained global recognition for his breakout hit 'Frikitona,' which quickly climbed to #2 on the Shazam Global House Chart and broke into the Beatport Top 10, fueled by viral social media posts, global radio airplay, and strong club support from a who's who of top DJs, including Cloonee, Diplo, Solomun, Fisher, John Summit, GORDO, ACRAZE, The Martinez Brothers, Mochakk, and many others.
