Tree Pit arouses our senses with an album pre release 

The release of their first single from the anticipated debut album is set to be on 9th April 2011. Tree Pit trio sat in the studio jamming towards the decision of choosing the best way to spread the clues shortly before the divulging of their original material. “We couldn’t find a better way to start our journey towards the release of our album than giving the respect to the Beatles” says the band.

Eleanor Rigby was the chosen song. “We felt that this is a song that we can relate to and add our touch without the shadow of sacrilege”. With stirring drum, blue voice and old fashion mixing the sound carries you to the London atmosphere of the Beatles that you can only imagine now from the “picks” of our poppy era. 

It just makes you be eager for more...which was the exact aim of this album pre release. Eleanor Rigby is a good introduction of the Tree Pit sound for the ones who haven’t heard them live on stage and a treat to their committed followers. The band is working hard up till the release date so it won’t take too long until everyone will have the opportunity to admire Tree Pit music.

Tree Pit - Eleanor Rigby (The Beatles)

my name is Rory and I am a guitarist living in london. London and everywhere seems to so stressful, we are living in a devided world, I'm at An age where the TV stress's my day, but recording music from the way I'm feeling keeps me on my toes and feet just about on the ground, it's my way of going to that quiet desert island of no stress.
I've been writing songs for around about 30 years and  enjoy making. music. 
when i put songs together i do it based on my mood at the time, ill play 1 part and ill hear the rest in my head. often it can be the smallest thing that lights the spark, from a life experience to the sound of someone playing drums whatever it is i'm recording and writing. it is a positive thing in my life and i will never quit doing it. My infuences are jimi hendrix, led zeppelin, rolling stones, nirvana, chili peppers. jimmy page,pink floyed.

I also once found an old water damaged classical acoustic nylon string guitar when i was potless, I stringed it up with steel strings and recorded half the songs i uploaded on soundcloud. however i now have the 
needed items for recording with. thanks for listening. i will be making some huge differences to what i post, i.e better recording equipment and a wider range of instruments. the first instruments i learned to play were the drums. no place better to be in a band. Two years back in the summer of 2008 three guys met in London, 2000 miles away from their hometown in Israel, where they grew up together. It was the beginning of Tree Pit. Nim Sadot (Bass Guitar), Yaron Rosenblum (Drums) and Lior Seker (Lead vocals, Guitar) the three band members come from different musical backgrounds and influences. That time they all had different projects going on; found themselves living in the cold but influential city of London. The different musical backgrounds created the Trio’s unique blend and after two years of working together the seeds of the Tree started to reveal from its Pit.
All three were born in the early 80’s with a real passion for music and since an early age they have been playing in different bands: Lior Seker- was the singer of a Progressive Rock band named Egroll. One of their many achievements was to play as the opening act for Jethro Tull on their 2008 tour. Lately he took part in a project called Ephrat which took the stages as the warm-up band for Dream Theater in their 2009 tour. Yaron Rozenblum- was the drummer of an Israeli Rock band The Music Of Chance which released their album ‘Me’ in 2005 and the lead singer of another Israeli Rock band - The Following. Yaron is also the drummer for the North London based Indie Rock band – The Playing Fields that released two critically acclaimed albums. Nim Sadot- Took part in a wide spectrum of different projects, one of them is the Afro-Beat band Oziozaamusic . All three worked as Producers at a Soho based recording studio, which gave the band its initial name “The Producers”. 
Since the beginning the band has been doing endless sessions perfecting their sound and finding their own unique voice, recording and re-recording songs trying to turn their music into a cohesive whole that melts their different worlds of Folk, Rock, Fusion and Jazz together. Describing their own brewed sound the band members referrers to an early comparison made by one of their contemporaries “Imagine hearing Jeff Buckley playing with John Coltrane “. 
After testing and experimenting with their material behind the walls of the studio and the rehearsal rooms the band started to explore the live scene of the UK performing at the legendary 100 Club and in well known venues such as The Good Ship, 93 Feet East, Wilmington Arms amongst others. The reaction from the rising fan base was incredible as more and more familiar faces began to show up gig after gig. The ones who got to see them live enjoyed one of the most energetic shows in the UK in recent years. The ones that missed the shows can anticipate to their next tour following the release of the upcoming album.

In the end of 2010 we find Tree Pit start working on their debut album to be released in the summer of 2011. The recording will take place in the beginning of January 2011 at Soho Studios in London and at The Sickroom in Norfolk. Producer Guy Katsav who worked with the likes of Laura Marling, The Gossip, Noah And The Whale, I Blame Coco and many more, will be in charge of the production/mixing of the album in collaboration with the band. “After working on our material for two and a half years and finding our true sound we are ready to get into the studio” say the band members.
