Note from the Artist:
Tree Skeleton began honestly as desperate prayers for ease and answers in a period of my life where I really knew I was lost and had been for several years. Not that what I was learning wasn't a part of my path, but I was continually choosing to learn life's lessons the hard way. For the first time in my life, I sought out real help. Not just a temporary ailment through the kindness of friends, family, and mentors that I asked for only when in the direst of straights, but for help to not continue the cycle of mental and emotional turmoil that I had been "persevering" through my whole life. 

The music has evolved to not only be an expression of my darker half, my shadow self but also filled up with words of inspiration from my higher self and the Light of Spirit. The messages I left in audio recording through these songs serve as a constant reminder of how far I've come and reminded me of the messages I need to hear when old inner demons attempt to creep up again. 

My ultimate goal is not only to present music and art that helps me heal but also helps others to heal. I hope what I make reaches and helps heal people's hearts and spirits. Music literally has saved my life as far as I'm concerned, both as a fan in my youth and as an adult musician. I have always wanted to make a beautiful album that shows the softer side of my creative force, and I have!

For this new Premiere, we have a track by the french Duo Nomenklatür from the upcoming Remix Album "Atomised Remixed" courtesy of Andy Barton's Label Bass Agenda Recordings.

The track we have chosen to premiere is the "Franck Kartell Remix" of ‘Transcendance’ and it will be available from May 10th, 2019.

Approaching one year after the release of their well-received and meticulously produced album 'Atomised', Nomenklatür are back with a remix album that could easily be a key chapter in a book about the best in modern French Electronic producers.

Each of the six artists involved here have taken what was already quality ingredients and made something special, with their own signature added. From the bombastic driving force of David Carretta to the surreal beauty of Jauzas the Shining, the sonic spectrum is well covered. Listening from start to finish is a journey in itself, each stop along the way has its own characteristics, but at the same time there is a flow here which has been retained from the original album - which is unusual for a remix album, and yet another reason this is special.

Everything we love about French Electro, distilled into one release, all inspired by the hard-work and passion of a great duo - Nomenklatür.

Tree Skeleton is healing music of un-suppressed self-exploration and euphoric expressions of both pain and beauty. Her music falls somewhere along the lines of the singer-songwriter, gothic folk, and a mix of experimental music genres with a subtle yet solid pop foundation. She sings with an honest clean voice that conveys a bittersweet purity of spirit mixed with the regal grounding of a solemn earthly sage. Analog and digital synthesizers, acoustic and electronic drums, and other DIY percussive instruments create a musical atmosphere drenched in self-reflection & sincerity. The instrumentation ranges from ethereal synth orchestration, layers of textured ambient sounds, pounding percussion, to barebones acoustic tribal rhythms weaved together by the beauty and depth of simplicity and moments of silence.

Her music is influenced by groups like This Mortal Coil, Dead Can Dance, Bjork, Edward Ka-Spel, Prince, and Black Tape for a Blue Girl to name a few. Her music also showcases her background as a longtime electronic producer.
