Mystic Sound is here with MAIIA and her live set recorded at the BK Festival Afterparty. Maiia is Alla Vagner – owner of Mystic Sound Records, producer and DJ. She directs her forces to the development of the chillout scene worldwide – by releasing high quality music, making mixes and organizing wonderful events. As a project she released 10 full-lenght chillout albums and 2 albums with psytrance music. Her music is a combination of psychedelic chillout with breaks and dub.

NEPAL IN DUBIS OUT NOW!

Since the release of Rajasthan in Dub back in 2016 I dream to travel around the world, meet different cultures, know more about their music and record it to share it both as folk versions and remixes.

Last year the first step of this dream became reality.

The Gig Sessions of Kamakhya Records (Oct 17-21, 2022) was the second edition of a private music and art retreat. Artists on invitation travelled to Assam in Northeast India. 
I had the honor to be invited and realize my dream thanks to Gandharva Brothers who travelled all the way from Nepal to collaborate on the music released today.
Enjoy this journey across the joy of Nepali music!

When we stop for a moment and think about the sources of music, What were the first sounds on Earth? And from what instruments we play, we immediately remember the sounds of birds and animals. The sound of the fire ember and the first tribes who lived on the land throughout the earth and performed ceremonies accompanied by music and spiritual dance and trance that creates a connection between man and spirit and earth. After we asked ourselves this question, we realised that the area of ​​music to which we are most connected is music that combines all these elements. Music that brings the sounds of nature the way they are. And the moments from the rituals of the world tribes that brought rhythm, dance, poetry, and spiritual trance and all the root sounds which we mix processors and combine with the sounds of today's synthetical electronic with influences from our favorite music we realised that we are TREEBOGA
