Red Sun Rising aka Michał Niecikowski is back on Altar with an unique psychill EP, expertly crafted with traditional folk chants and hurdy gurdy sound by Olica aka Aleksandra Suchowiecka. 

Polish traditional music originates from pagan times and is characterized by a rural origin, from a simple people and a memory transmission. It refers to the old Slavic rituals and traditions associated with the annual nature cycle and the human life cycle. It connects to them organically. In this music, singing plays an important role, as well as an open, penetrating, intense and clear voice. People also used instruments such as violin, drums, hurdy-gurdy, flute and bass. In Polish archaic music, there are a lot of elements that can be found in contemporary, experimental and electronic music - repeatability, minimal formal means, return to a single sound, reference to the surrounding nature sounds and trance. 

This EP testifies to the fact that the history of music has come full circle and the old one perfectly complements the new ones !

Tribal Steps is inspired by conscious gatherings, ecstatic dance and community circles. The whispers of our ancestors invite us to walk in the path of their footsteps, to activate the archaic awareness of animate nature of reality and to cherish all the forms of life. This compilation is a powerful tool for integrating those impulses into our conscious mind through the power of organic music.

It is compiled in the ecstatic dance form , inviting on a journey through various styles and rhythms in order to invoke the power of active meditation inducing an ecstatic feeling of connection with all there is.Praising of organic and sacred sound is holding all tracks together. From meditative to uplifting, from mystical to euphoric, this compilation will activate the ancient spirit in you.

***All the donations will go for building an open space hall in Croatian village, surrounded by nature and permaculture garden, where different activities will be held, like music sessions, ecstatic dance, fire gatherings, workshops, education for children and retreats. All the artists from compilation will be invited to play there once when it's built. Deepest gratitude for their amazing music and opened hearts.***

When we stop for a moment and think about the sources of music, What were the first sounds on Earth? And from what instruments we play, we immediately remember the sounds of birds and animals. About the sobbing of the water and the wind blowing through the tall trees. The sound of the fire ember and the first tribes who lived on the land throughout the earth and performed ceremonies accompanied by music and spiritual dance and trance that creates a connection between man and spirit and earth. After we asked ourselves this question, we realised that the area of ​​music to which we are most connected is music that combines all these elements. Music that brings the sounds of nature the way they are. And the moments from the rituals of the world tribes that brought rhythm, dance, poetry, and spiritual trance and all the root sounds which we mix processors and combine with the sounds of today's synthetical electronic with influences from our favorite music we realised that we are TREEBOGA

IBOGA This is the word that attaches importance to the spiritual trance, to Psychedelic and the hallucinogens that the tribal elders used to connect with the tribal spirits for channeling and healing
