Booka Shade are Berlin-based duo Walter Merziger and Arno Kammermeier, and have emerged as one of the most pioneering electronic music acts of the past two decades. Booka Shade return with their new album ‘Eve’ released through Armada Music December 13th, preceded by first single ‘Love Inc’, released on December 9th.

For their fifth studio album Booka Shade wanted to tell a new story, a story which represented a new beginning for them after they had almost split up during the first half of the production. In order to create something exciting they needed to be somewhere exciting and in search of inspiration headed to the UK home of electronic music, Manchester, to record at the acclaimed Eve studios, a residential vintage recording studio. This is where they found themselves together again, where the music came to life and why the album is named after the studio.

“We recorded an electronic album in a traditional way and it made us feel like a band again, it was like going back to the beginning. ”

The 12 track album includes special guests Fritz Helder (Azari & III), Fritz Kalkbrenner, and Groove Armada’s Andy Cato on trombone. Artwork was conceived and designed by La Boca to provide a rich and vivid visual accompaniment to ‘Eve’.

Booka Shade singles have historically been both underground sensations and club hits (such as ‘Mandarine Girl’ and ‘Body Language’) and new single ‘Love Inc’ looks set to follow in those footsteps. ‘Love Inc’ is infused with pure club sound, paying a contemporary homage to Chicago’s former king of house, Lil Louis, whose 1992 hit ‘Club Lonely’ serves as the track’s sample. Friend and art director Thomas Hayo was brought on board to direct the song’s music video in the vein of their last collaboration on “Sweet Lies”. Details to be announced.

WhoMadeWho is known for its outstanding performances as a band. This sucessful acts is touring the world and tracks are getting remixed by some of the top producers in the world like Tale Of Us, Maceo Plex, Mario Basanov and Mind Against. 
Knowing that all these remixes got released on top labels like Life And Death, Minus and Kompakt, we are very proud that Click Records can now be added to this impressive list of remixers and labels that WhoMadeWho worked with and released their music on. 

Edu Imbernon needs no introduction. This dj/producers tours all around the world, plays all the big clubs and festivals and is also running his own new Fayer record label. Edu Imbernon is also no stranger for the Click audience as he is one of our regular artists on our events. We are very happy to have him finally onboard with delivering this driving melodic remix! 

Agents Of Time are fast rising and already on top of the league in their genre. With releasing their "Polina" track, which got huge support from Tale Of Us, they delivered a instant techno classic tune. Playing all over the globe, with a show last week at our own event in Amsterdam, they set every dance floor on fire with their unique performance and live sets. 

With these 3 acts in involved in 1 EP you can imagine this is our biggest release so far and we are very proud to present you the WhoMadeWho - Right Track & Traces Remix EP.

Get Physical is happy to share duo Stereocalypse and their two-tracker ‘Arboria EP’. The duo have just begun the project, with only one previous release under their belts together – but as soon as you turn it on, you would think these guys have been at it for years. The title track is a magic weapon in eclectic Solomun’s afterhours, a warm, wobbly blend of bubbling synths, beautiful atmosphere and spot-on percussion, teasing drum rolls every now then while the synth slowly come to a simmer. The journey to the peak is as enchanting as it is satisfying, building up a gorgeous ambience and delicately filling out the soundscape. ‘Little Sad Orchestra’ carries the same traits, opting for, as the title would suggest, a more melancholic pressure with keen percussive dynamics and a gorgeous trip to the peak and back down. For our next release we welcome back two of Hamburg’s finest and most recent international exports: Adana Twins. Last seen on our latest Various Artists compilation, the duo returns with three absolutely stunning tracks of low slung, infectious cuts blurring the lines between House and Techno with an undeniable brush stroke of character the two are quickly becoming synonymous for.

‘Flower Of Cane’ kicks things off in an almost sinister fashion with massive low end bursts and a fever inducing, single note that never stops rising culminating in a climactic crescendo of dance floor euphoria while ‘Ortus’ takes a much more ‘up-beat’ approach with dreamy arpeggios and shimmering atmospherics laid over a pulsing bassline resulting in a gorgeous number ideal for a number of memorable moments.

Wrapping up the originals is the guaranteed summer anthem: 'Relentless fest. Jeppe Kjellberg’ where sultry vocals and lush aural artifacts launch sensations to uncharted new heights. Not done yet, we asked none other than the brilliant Andre Lodemann to create his revision of ‘Relentless feat. Jeep Kjellberg’ and he, as always, delivered big time.
