With just two more volumes of this season to go we find ourselves arriving at Locations: Canada as the Jazz Jousters share their take on a lab off session which focused on sampling Jazz music from Canada.

Locations: Canada should see you all through to January 2016 when the Jousters return with our Cuban project which we have already begun to work on. For now tho, we hope you enjoy this session and keep an eye on this page (MJM Bandcamp) this month for another "Thank YOU" special from some of the MJM label mates.

Jonas Lechenmayr (aka Senoy) a Berlin based sound design student delivers us his first solo album Shine, a carefully crafted personal body of work.  Following his 2016 release Parra for Cuva + Senoy - Darwis on Project Mooncircle, which was more experimental in nature, Senoy reveals that he has fully come into his own very comfortable space; deeply chill and satisfying.  The childhood photo on the front cover foreshadows the raw spirit and delicate sound contained on the tape within.  Soft mellow tones, hypnotizing samples and perfectly captivating broken beats.
