Canada’s Own R&B sensation brings you his Discography -an urban audio ethnography that takes you on a journey of Love, Space and Time.
Inspired by Classical Hip Hop & motivated with contemporary RNB & Hip Hop concepts, today, LA40 has grown into a musical class of his own pushing the boundaries of Hip Hop, R&B, by infusing elements of Anti-Pop, Jazz-Hop, Dance Music, Neo-Soul, Pop, and Rock!!! & his latest activity suggests it is not going to stop any time soon.

Biography: LA40 - Born in North York Ontario, 
Growing up in 45 Driftwood, his parents wanted to relocate to Niagara and leave Jane & Finch in response to the rising crime rate back in the early 1990s.  

Growing up, LA40 was a target of racism in predominantly white Niagara Region, however this only made him stronger.  Influenced by R&B and RAP.  His first Album was a gift from his aunt; Cassette  Montel Jordan -This is How We Do It LP. From there LA would explore music from Whitney Houston, Boys to Men, to Tical & 36 Chambers. LA was intrigued by music and would spend more time listening to music instead of watching T.V. and other activities.  When LA40 turned 11 his brother started rapping and this influenced and molded LA40 as a rapper at a very young age, LA40 would constantly sing and reinvent parts for his brother's songs, much to his brothers annoyance LOL! & singing & rap Hip-hop displays in the basement became a regular occurrence.   

La40's passion for R&B did not burn out, growing up LA40 continued to be influenced by R&B sensations 112, LSG, Jon B, Babyface, Eric Benet and R-Kelly.
