On Our Way to Ozora we continue our journey into a world of zen and creatures within, to catch a glimpse of what the Chill Out Dome will have in store for us this summer. Daniel Rosado and Henrique Palhavã are bringing you the sounds of Zen Baboon. Tune in on 7th June 2014 Saturday 5pm CET on the Chill channel.

Zen Baboon is composed by Daniel Rosado and Henrique Palhavã. 

Both were born in the 70`s in Portugal and since an early age kept a close connection with the music world. Musically and without mention any names and styles, both love projects with great sound quality and with original construction.

Daniel is a sound engineer that worked in a Lisbon studio for National Geographic documentaries and started producing electronic music in the late 90′s.

Henrique, a zoologist, lives and works in his own farm. Started as dj, (dj henriq to name him) and producer in 2001. They got together in 2003 and decided to melt their musical preferences and create Zen Baboon.

With several tracks on VA compilations, their first album “Suber” was released on Electrik Dream records in 2013. They work basically apart and with the same software, keeping the continuous learning process awake.

Artist Bio:
Tilt begins the mix in 1993 and crosses by several style like tek and hardtek, play with artists of international fame as Garnier, Zinno, Carl Craig, Crystal Distortion... 
In 2000, he discovers psytrance, organizes numerous evenings and joins as DJ the French label Avigmatic then the English label Free Spirit records. 
Having played in diverse country of Europe, in sides of the biggest, (Infected Mushroom, Neelix, Astral Projection, Painkiller, Space Tribe), he joins the team Hadra under his two projects Sangohan and Tilt.  
Revealed by the technical quality and the story of its mixes, within two years, Tilt plays on numerous progressive stages with artists as Day Din, Egorythmia, Loud, Zyce... 
We recognize him a dynamic and steady style, tinged with psychedelism, always in search of a technique and of a coherence always more worked.

Asygen is Dmitry V. from Moscow, Russia. He's been a part of the Techno-Trance culture since 1997. Soon after discovering his passion for that style of music he began DJing and playing night psychedelic trance at psytrance parties in Russia. In 2011 he began to play Dark progressive & Forest psygressive sounds and later became a label DJ for Glitchy.Tonic.Records & Insonitus Records Now Dmitry regularly plays at parties in Russia and abroad.

Damon started spinning records in the mid 90s being involved in the acid techno/hard energy scene (and later nu school breaks and goa trance) in Poland. Moving to Chicago in 2000 he connected to the sound oozing out of the West Coast. The slow breaks resonating on the Playa@Burning Man defined a shift to the downtempo psychedelic spectrum. In 2005 he met Yidam from India and Robyo from the States both chillout DJs. The three of them started playing back to back at parties in the Midwest. Being notorious for their opinion on sound and spinning darker heavier dubby sounds on the chill stage they started being referred to as the Chillumafia. Of course the name stuck and the organizers included The Chillumafia affiliation. 

In 2006-2008, they gigged in a clubs, at outdoor gatherings and festivals like Gaian Mind, AUM Festival and Burning Man. In 2008, Damon returned to Poland and Yidam to India but the Chillumafia connection remained strong. They played in their respective countries with Damon headlining chill stages across Eastern Europe ending with playing at Ozora Festival in 2009. Yidam started focusing on the production aspect of sound and jamming with local musicians. The duo met thrice in the next three years pushing the taste range with each gig. Chillumafia evolved beyond chill out into glitcher forms of dance friendly electronica. 

2012 was the next big step. Finally ready with the first wave of production material the tour included tabla player Soumya Shankar Roy performing with The Chillumafia. They played in India, Poland and Germany ending with a 4 hour morning set at the Ambient Source stage at Boom Festival in Portugal. 

Chillumafia sound today is a mix of hedonistic grooves from the West and chill beats from the East expressed with a range of styles from ambient to dance, from traditional to futuristic, bringing remixes, live production and guest musicians into the sound system.

Organic Soup are Ariel Orshansky & Ido Gold from Yavne, Israel. They begun their psychedelic journey in 2005, Since then they released their first track in 2007 on Metatron Production. From that point released some more tracks in various labels, until the release of the first album "The Myth Of Organic Soup" on Parabola music (2010). The Ep "Crystal Revelations" has been released at All records in 2011. The second album "Secret Ingredients" was out in Trancelucent Productions in 2013. Ido is playing electric guitar for many years, and in some of their tracks he his performing his skill in a very special way. Their style can be described as Full-on with Goa Trance elements. The latest release is the EP "Remonstrance" on Dacru Records, and more stuff are on the way, so stay tuned, buckle up and enjoy the flight!

Psychosomasis - Drop Of Love - Tree of Life festival entry.

The man behind Dreaddean is Lain Martinez, he was introduced to the psychedelic culture back in Madrid, where he is originally from, but it was not until he moved to London when he began to produce Psychedelic Trance, influenced by classic Goa, Techno and Psy-Dub also getting inspiration from live bands from Punk to Psychedelic Rock. 

His music varies in tempo from a slower and more progressive sound to a faster and night time sometimes dark sound, but always trying to keep an element of melody that will make his music enjoyable for listening outside the dance floor. 
In 2014 he released his first album, Patterns, under Tribal Sphere Records, based in the UK and supported by Ektoplazm, receiving a very positive feedback. 

His live set is a dynamic one, playing only his own productions and remixing his tracks live, each one of his performances is sure to be 100% original, not leaving the dance floor indifferent. He has been performing his live set across the UK and Spain, always trying to bring innovation to the performance.

Diamandy is a fresh project creating Cosmic-Techno and Tech-Minimal music. After fine releases on labels like Digital Structures Records, Rusted Records, and many more Diamandy established himself as a producer with a different approach to Techno Music. The connection of robotic rhythms and beats with openly wide sounds and a story behind each track brought to Diamandy support from different types of crowd and Artists (From Techno to Psy Low Bit). His work been repeatedly played by Perfect Stranger, Roy Rosenfeld, Max Freegrant, Super8 & Tab and many more! 
The agenda is never copy boring endless loops and follow one style but to experiment and mix different genres – Dub-step, House, Prog-House, Psy elements, under the Techno Hut. Diamandy's music trying to connect desire to move with desire to imagine and analyze music. 
Diamandy sets usually goes from Minimalistic low movement to uprising madness and back – not the same loop for the hall time.

Looking back on an intimate personal relationship with more than fifteen years of electrosonic art, Peer has been able to make himself a name – both as an artist and a remixer, with a great hand for unique and diverse atmospheres - as well as a witty producer, with the ability to capture and further refine the magic studio moment. Having worked in event-, label- and artist management, in both the underground and the mainstream music industry alike, his music proves a mature sense for the outstanding and fresh. Fynex is the solo project of Frederic Jauvin, a 40 years old french musician who lives in Bordeaux, in the south of France. Introduced to what is called nowadays "psytrance" around 2000 with the famous Gaia parties, he felt in love with the genre and decided to study it...to eventually produce his own music later. 

Between 2005 and 2007, he has invested his money to build a proper studio and learn how to make electronic music ( and more particularly psytrance and progressive trance ) with a computer... and he was lucky enough to meet , and become close friend, with some experienced producers such as Talamasca, X.S.I, and Deedrah, who have invited Fynex in their studio many times to show him a lot of studio tricks that will be useful for him as a producer...and he learned quite well because only few months after this, Fynex finally released his first EP : " TRANSCENDENTAL STATE " on GEOMAGNETIC records, a label who has become famous to discover the new talents of tomorrow . 

Fynex is of course playing as a Dj but he's working on his first album after the success of his first EP, and when the album will be ready he will begin to perform live. He had his first party as a Dj in the GIBUS club, a very well known club of the Paris underground city life, for TEKNO TANZ, very well known promoter of the gaia parties in France. The reaction of the public in that event was so amazing that it motivated him to play more and more, ( and maybe in a larger scale, including some progressive trance mixes when he happens to begin or to close a party ...) and he already produced few mixes for online radios such as midiradio, and of course the famous WWW.PSYCHEDELIK.COM .

Fynex - Monolok Hook - Tree of Life festival entry.

Sylvain aka Zorglüb was born in France in 1973. In his teen age, he was influenced by classic rock/pop artists such as Hendrix, the Beatles, Pink Floyd, Bowie, the Stooges or the Velvet Underground. 
Then, back in 1992, thanks to his big brother, parties collectives such as Techno Tanz Resistance or the Spiral Tribe, DJs such as Iguane, Laurent Hô, Yayo, Chaos, Lenny Dee or Liza N’Heliaz and a famous radio show, Rave Up, created by Patrick Rognant on radio FG, he discovered techno and trance music as well as the underground electronic music scene. 
The people, the music, the dance were such a revelation that he soon left out his guitar and bought his first turntables. 
He then starts to perform in raves and free parties where he plays hardcore, goa trance and full-on. 
In 1997 and 1998, he moves to Abidjan where he was the resident DJ of " l'Enfer " Club. 
Back in France, he works for SCV Audio and then for Radio France where he is currently project manager at the audio facilities engineering department. 
Musically, Zorglüb has gradually shifted from full-on to progressive psytrance, very rhythmic and abstract. With his group of friends, he organized a few events in Paris under the name Bonux Party. Then, still with the same collective completed by his brother and his friends settled in Berlin, they organized the Mad Masters parties combining visual arts and electronic music. 
Faithful to the vinyl for more than 20 years, he still uses a pair of Technics turntables to play and definitely love them. 
Well… Now using a Serato to keep them alive and thanks to talented artists and exceptional labels (Iono, Iboga, TesseracT studio, Nano, Ovnimoon...) who produce bomb tracks weekly, he keeps on spinning records on his decks as well as dancing on Earth with the Happy Nation…
