Vena Portae is a Russian electro-acoustic band from Altay. Two members of the group — Artem Demidov and Katya Zlobina use in their music natural and synthesized, acoustic and electronic sounds. Their music is a mixture of different styles: ambient, downtempo, glitch, IDM, soundscapes, trip-hop, ethnic.

Vena Portae travels a lot and derives inspiration from wild nature of Altay mountains and fields. They record different sounds which they use in their music.

On their records and live concerts you always hear acoustic and electronic instruments: electric guitar, termenvox, Native American flutes, ethnic percussion and noise instruments, blow organ etc

Katya’s voice takes an important part in the music of Vena Portae. It can be mystical and scary, melodious and sweet, always unpredictable and memorable.

DJ Jeff Mk Ultra is known to be one of the first goa-trance pioneers in France and Canada. His energy on the dance-floors all over the world while playing his sets is still legendary until now.
Trance is part of his mind and he naturally knows how to share a trance state music experience.
He released many records back in the days, starting in 1994 with "Escape From Anywhere" on Step 2 House Records, wrote legendary goa-trance anthems with Virtuart under the moniker Underhead, released on Coyote Records, AUM Records, etc. 

DJ St Pierre was also in Paris at the birth of the goa-trance scene and they played together many times at so many parties and festivals. St Pierre is now a mastering engineer and sound designer.

He met with DJ Zen (aka Astral Waves) in 1997 in Canada and since then their career path followed each other.
It's in between two lock-downs at the beginning of 2021 that they decided to make some music together, starting at Jeff's Yoga Studio in Paris and finalized at distance, thanks to internet.
After a few months this album was born from Mk ULTRA main arrangements and compositions and Astral WAVES concept in rhythm. So they naturally named themselves "Ultra Waves".

Terry Mifsud aka MoodShifter is a Psychedelic Downtempo DJ from Malta focused on delivering a danceable journey through deep emotions. 

It was in 1996 that he came in touch with turntables for the first time. During the years the passion for music and dj’ing kept growing strongly and in the last 10 years the love for psychedelic music and culture became the focal point of life. 

MoodShifter’s mixes are played on Chromanova.de (Ambient & Chillout Radio) and he can be found playing regularly in maltese Parties, Chillout Events and Festivals. Having warmed up the dancefloors for artists such as E-Mantra, Entheogenic, Alwoods, Easily Embarrassed and having played in the last two editions of Earthgarden Festival in Malta now feels the right time to start playing at events and Festivals in Europe.

Real Name: Charles Farewell

Profile:

Asura is Charles Farewell, born in 1975. 
Originally a duo composed of Charles Farewell, and Vincent Villuis.
Since 1996, the project Asura has polished a personal electronic universe sound, between Trance Psychedelic, Ambient and World music. In 1998, Christopher Maze joins the band and in 2000, the first Asura album, "Code Eternity, is released. 
Made by many influences, their music, built around electronic machines and acoustic instruments, does not remain about it less one personal and considered creation, centered on the perpetual search of infinite spaces and multiple origins. Monotonous melancholic lyrics, symphonic waves, fast and slow rhythms, heavy or throbbing, liturgical songs, the project Asura introduces a certain solemn vision of the world.
They have created a very distinctive sound which has contributed to making Asura one of the most recognizable bands of the World Electro and Trance Ambient genre. 
In 2001, Vincent Villuis left the band to concentrate on his new project Aes Dana and was replaced the same year by Alex Ackerman.
The second album, "Lost Eden", was released in 2003.
Since July 2005, after the departure of Christopher Maze and Alex Ackerman, Asura became a solo project. exclusively composed of Charles Farewell.
In July 2007, the third Asura album, "Life²", was released..
