Keeping on with a nice sequence of releases, we are delighted to announce another great debut on Tree Sixty One. With the background of having released on some of the big labels on the business, we are very happy to have on board Mr. James Silk. The first release with us couldn't be better, as James has delivered a sequence of three classic dance floors tracks to build a great EP. 

'Light On Me', that gives name to the release, is a sampling treasure full of good vibes that can definitely turn our vibes up, delivering a special vocal cut, beautiful chords progression and that classic house music touch that we love. 

The second one, 'Needin You', reminds us a golden era of House Music like the 2000's bringing again some wonderful chords and a perfect vocal on a very powerful track. 

Last but not least, 'Hurt So Bad' close the EP with a groovy track a little bit more underground that still make a connection with the previous ones on a great sequence.

Montreal boys, Lucas & Alex have been pushing their own unique sounds for a couple years now. With their special vision, they’ve been able to create a fan base that follows them everywhere they go. They infuse their music and djing style with every essence of underground music. They take their listeners through a journey of groove that represents them. They are constantly pushing for that forward thinking-sound. After a couple years in the industry, they started their own brand WAL where each gathering is a new experience. With this project they’ve been able to put themselves in the greatest venues in Montreal. The best is yet to come for this young duo.

A Guernsey based DJ, Toby is recognised for his underground sounds at local clubs, bars and festivals.

Toby is heavily influenced by the deeper side of the underground genre, inspired by labels such as Anjunadeep, Afterlife and Knee Deep In Sound. These unique, deep flavours have become a staple in his sets across the island, providing the Guernsey music scene something fresh and intriguing.

In 2020, Toby co-established Deeper Grooves - an underground movement advocating the deeper essence of house and electronic music, providing many successful events across the local music scene.

This established array of sounds has lead Toby to be a go to name on line ups for local club events and festivals. Most recently playing along side Biscits (Solotoko) and having a short residency at AC Bar Beach Club in Koh Tao, Thailand.
