Wie kann man eine Band nur Treffpunkt X nennen? X wie Nix? Nix Nix, Treffpunkt X ist alles!

Eine Band wie diese kann nur aus Berlin kommen. 
Treffpunkt X steppt den Rhythmus der Großstadt beim Cocktailtrinken zwischen Mitte und Kreuzkölln, beim Bier in der Eckkneipe oder beim Chillen an der Spree - sie schauen sich nur selbst aufs Maul und wissen, das läuft.

"Wir treffen uns am Treffpunkt X - mitzubringen braucht ihr nix", nicht mal gute Laune, die kommt von ganz alleine, wenn die sechs X'ler ihren unverwechselbaren Sound erstehen lassen. 
Hier sind Berliner Pflanzen zusammengewachsen - aufgepäppelt durch den typischen Dünger dieser Metropole. Sie sind nicht arm (reich allerdings auch nicht) und trotzdem sind sie sexy wie Berlin: Zwischen 2takter und 12 Zylinder, zwischen Platte und Villa, zwischen Wannsee und Marzahn geht es nur um die nackte Wahrheit und die Kreativität - Touristen suchen dieses Flair, wir verraten den Geheimtipp - kommt zu Treffpunkt X.

Die alten Rapper sind tot, das Milieu singt seinen eigenen Trauermarsch, denn der Hip-Hop hat eine neue Farbe und der mixt Electro und Dub zu einer einzigartigen Melange.

Say the name 'lil'dave' and an ingenue of class and aural distinction comes to mind. lil'dave channels the far reaches of the soul, all the while effortlessly combining taste, groove, and appeal with today's technology. Although his roots are in hip-hop, lil'dave is most widely known for his electronic escapades through house, broken beat, brazilia, acid jazz, funk and UK-inspired soul and rare groove. Through these genres, lil'dave defines his signature sound.

On any given day, lil'dave can be found behind the boards producing, in the crates digging, at the beats grinding, at the turntables creating. With demeanor calm and levels tuned, lil'dave brings crowds to a fever pitch, leaving them parched for more. He takes great delight in pleasing his treasured following and making them happy through the power of DJing.

Whether it be through showcasing rarefied gems on his legendary radio program (Eavesdrop Radio) or providing sonic leaflets as 1/6 of the multifaceted Illvibe Collective, lil'dave has the talent, drive, and the penchant for the art of moving butts.

I am a audio engineer/dj/producer. A graduate of The Conservatory of Recording in Tempe AZ now living in the new England area. Mostly a Drum and Bass producer. Started Djing in 99 I've played hundreds of gigs all Stateside from California, Arizona, Colorado, Pittsburgh, D.C.,  Miami, Maine, Vermont, NYC and Boston. Around 2003 Started having the urge to start writing my own tracks and giving back to the music I love some much.  In 2006 I move to Tempe Az to attended The Conservatory of Recording arts And science to become Audio Engineer learning from the ground up the fundamentals of music recording and production with 12 awesome like minded classmates learning how to run SSL Neve,Control 24 and other consoles to record in a studio.  As well as Learning how to create using Logic, Protools etc. with certifications. Spotting  SFX and writing music for film, music business, microphones etc. It was the best choice i have ever made it fueled my drive to really perfect what i had been trying to do from the previous years.After leaving school moved to NYC for a internship writing SFX and music for a couple small Documentaries as well as giving a helping hand to a indie label called Whats Your Rupture. It was a fantastic experience in my life.  

Currently I am writing Drum and Bass for an album some of it can be heard on the page, i work a ton so i don't have to much free time, but what ever free time i have I'm writing.  So im sure I've mentioned this before some where on this page but I am really looking for like minded individuals who want to collaborate on tunes DnB especially So please contact me and lets do some work.

Some Other favorite styles of music I enjoy writing are dub reggae heavily influenced by groups like Zion Train, The Vibronics, Bush chemists, King Tubby,Mad Professor and of course The Scientist Mr. Lee Scratch Perry just to name a few.   Other favorite styles are writing Funky Dubby Trip Hop influenced by the likes of Thievery Corporation,Groove Corporation, Nightmares on Wax and DJ shadow once again there are way to many Artists in this category to list but I'm sure you get the idea.  Another influence and style of music would be Deep Tech House bythe likes of Terry Lee Brown Jr. and The Timewriter.
