TREGAMBE label boss Juliet Fox provides her imprint with a double-edged fiery single titled ‘Dad’s Backyard’, coming equipped with a tasty B-side remix courtesy of PER PLEKS. 

Juliet’s Dad’s Backyard is where the inspiration for the track’s hypnotic journey comes from, with the trippy colourful artwork giving an insight into what was witnessed in this very space. Within the track, Juliet has interwoven field recordings taken in her Dad’s backyard whilst in Australia last year. These sounds include native birds and insects, with the kookaburra being the main feature. As ever Juliet’s homeland remains close to her heart and during production she also thought back to the many things she has seen and enjoyed in the same backyard - whether it be kangaroos, the vast gum trees, the sprawling wattle bushes and the odd koala or two.

The remix of the track comes from German producer PER PLEKS, whom Juliet began speaking with a few months back about working on something together. Thankfully they decided to get this remix done and the result is a thumping, high-energy interpretation of Juliet’s original work. It is simply a dance floor destroyer, one which we are incredibly proud to have on TREGAMBE.

Violent Methods significa techno pesado e trancy. O jovem de 24 anos de Recklinghausen começou a discotecar em 2019 e tem sido uma presença constante nos decks desde então. Já tocou em vários clubes da região, mas também conseguiu fornecer som para clubes como o Gotec de Karlsruhe. 

Atualmente é residente do Junkyard Club em Dortmund, onde está regularmente na programação de grandes nomes como Kobosil, I Hate Models, Dax J, Clara Cuvé e muitos outros. Ele também organiza sua própria série de eventos chamada COMPACT, que também acontece lá. Em 2023 Max lançou seu primeiro lançamento, e também uma faixa em colaboração com Gabriel Padrevita.

Violent Methods stands for hard and trancy techno. The 24-year-old from Recklinghausen started DJing in 2019 and has been a permanent fixture behind the decks ever since. He has already played in numerous clubs in the area, but he has also been able to provide sound for clubs such as the Gotec in Karlsruhe.

TREGAMBE [tray~gam~bee] is a new record label founded and curated by Adelaide-born, Berlin-based DJ and producer Juliet Fox.

Initially the platform was used to showcase her own material, and an expression of her artwork that she painted for each of own releases. 

Juliet is now opening the label up to other like-minded  artists, who have an equal passion for music and art combined by all SENSES.
