Machine Elves put on an amazing event last month that was everything a DJ would want to play. Top sound, professional production, and a fun crowd. I was booked to play a Playa Tech set so I busted out some of my favorite tracks new and old to get everyone grooving to start the night.

Jake Trevino, stage name Tré, is a Flight Controller of Houston’s Machine Elves collective. Music in all of its forms has always been an integral part of his life but over the last 10 years, he's immersed himself in dance music. With influences from artists such as Bonobo, Lee Burridge, Guy J, Floating Points, Jamie XX, Jimpster, and Yokoo, he’s a house aficionado through-and-through and prides himself on being able to mold his sound to fit any scenario. Aiming to strike that perfect balance between energy and emotion. He’s shared the stage with heavy hitters such as Lee Burridge, Ferreck Dawn, Simon Vuarambon, Enamour, David Hohme, Wassu, and a slew of other talented Houston locals.
