The Formidable Duo...
Thrown together as part of the Ghetto Jam crew, Dafu & DJ Cursa have gone on to rock the turntables in many of Bournemouth's finest venues.
 
Over the last few years the Duo have been popping up on regular events including 'Secret Walls', 'After Dark', 'Ghetto Funk' and 'Break It Down'. 
They have become residents of Smokin' Aces Whiskey & Cocktail Bar and The Four Horsemen with their 'Back 2 Back' events, 
as well as a new regular event for 2016 - 'Cult 45' with Deejay Leeroy.
 
Along the way managing to share the turntables supporting such acts as The Nextmen, DJ Format, The Herbaliser, DJ Suspect, Grandmaster Flash, 
JFB, Chinese Man, Craig Charles, Mark Rae, Mr Doris, Mouse Outfit, DJ Yoda and Peanut Butter Wolf… amongst others!! No one can disagree 
with their pedigree x

Bio--> Im so lucky I had the opportunity to share my 20 years of work as a musician with the world in any capacity  🌎 !!! From our own Stages at Festivals to living rooms and Homeless shelters. Music saved my life and still is keeping me alive surrounded by loss I'm still winning :) Perception is everything. 

Started out in my mother's womb listening to my father mix on belt driven turntables and producing beats. I Had the opportunity to play several instruments at a young age but NEGLECTED ( DJ NEGLECT ) my calling as a musician until I became a music lover. I began to listen instead of just hearing the music. It hits different when you listen. 

Classical music, Classic Rock, Salsa, Merengue, Blue Grass, Reggae, Jungle, DnB, any Genre I could find..

 I began Breakdancing about 29 years ago, B-Boy music fanatic  ❤️ . About 5/10 years later, I began Turntablisim, yes on Vinyl records no laptops.. lol.. To Producer, Starving musician, Homeless yet I produced music, performing in front of hundreds, made money,  lost money, made friends, lost friends... Djing at festivals, clubs, house parties, anywhere that I can play paid or not, because it kept me sane and Alive when I was dead jnside... Payments include cash, credit, hugs n high fives.... Its been brutal yet Bliss over these last 20 bloody, sweaty, Happy, depresseing, overwhelming, lonely, life I wouldn't trade for anything.

  I became a skydiving Instructor for 10 years and had over 6,000 skydives that were beyond amazing. I was living the dream but asleep, which naturally also produces nightmares.  Lost some frienda in ways I still cant accept....

 On this journey that is mine alone to experience it as I have.. I share my feelings and never look back thru the tears over the years as a music lover and musician.  Always doing the right things and being the bigger person as the mother of the Zodiac does. I am a child of God, Mother Earth and a Vessel of light. Darkness around every turn. Im Always drawn to the flame and red flags. I would try and paint the red flags green, put out the fires with my hands and stare at the sun so you wouldn't go blind.

..I would just tell myself in the worst moments. This is gonna be a good song or great Album(s)

 I absolutely truly love you all, from the strangers,  die hard supporters and especially to those that wish me the worst. It's all love and I know better than most. Yet I refuse to change into something Im not.  I believe change and emotions are temporary. I will adapt and grow as I have.

 This Journey and Music means the World to me. The Blessing and peace to resonate with strangers that may not even speak the same language makes us closer than twins.

I hope to inspire, heal, teach, and continue to learn what this Cruel and ever so loving World has taught me. It continues to teach me daily with music. I am a Professor and also a student of my craft. if it's happening to you, there is a song about that and or one that you can make. Some days its depression, some days it's euphoric Bliss, but you should always hold yourself accountable for the frequency resonating inside you. You are an amplifier and have power within you.
Music does not belong to me or you. It's a gift and meant to be for everyone. That being said, I have hundreds of mixes and Production of all Genres I will give you if you ask. It is my great pleasure to provide freely or with a donation.

Music and my love is like the light of a Bonfire. Shared with all and hidden from none.  It doesn't matter your experience level or intentions. I will do my best
