A staple in Berlin's and Germany's underground music scene for over 15 years, Iron Curtis has released tracks on labels such as Office Recordings, Smallville, Mule, Tamed Musiq, Mirau, and Frank Music. His studio work is incredibly versatile, ranging from soulful house to acid techno and electro. Iron Curtis’ productions are known for their impeccable sound design and deep, heartfelt energy.
This mix from Iron Curtis is house music at its finest—an ideal soundtrack for hot summer days. From classic and vocal to soulful and deep house, Iron Curtis creates a smooth, groovy, and uplifting atmosphere.

Good Block are a familiar duo amongst certain circles. For several years they have been steadily releasing music inspired by the funk and balearic influences of the late eighties and nineties - fusing modern sounds with the sun kissed hedonism of the past. They've been generous with it too. Always keen to share edits and tracks with friends, their music has been the secret weapon of many a DJ.

They are about to release a new album - titled 'Window' the record features a collection of dubbed out downtempo and house music which shows a growth and depth to their sound.

Based in London the pair are also seriously talented selectors - having built a reputation for their eclectic, far reaching sets which move between styles and genre.

This mix is a masterclass in a warm, glowing type of dance music - the sort that makes you long for summer and serenades you into spring.

Anemoia presents one of our favourite Berlin bookings - Hisashi (Snapout). Originally from Sendai, Japan, Hisashi spent a decade refining his DJ skills in Tokyo, making his mark on the city with regular appearances at Shibuya's KOARA and RED BAR—key venues in the Tokyo underground scene. His influence extends beyond Japan, having performed at Berlin's Club der Visionäre, Frankfurt's Silvergold, and Korea's MODECi. After a decade of experience behind the decks, he relocated to Berlin in 2022, where he co-runs the label "Snapout" with yama', Takashi Himeoka, and Riku Sugimoto. 



About this month's mix, he says: "This mix is a collection of records I don't usually play in clubs—mainly ambient, downtempo, IDM, and trip-hop from my home listening shelf. While I mostly collect house and techno, I've always had a deep love for slower, moodier sounds. D59B felt like the perfect place to share this quieter side of my collection."

this is the live recording of my set at the final edition of @velvetfestival in june 2025. I loved this intimate festival on the beautiful island of krk, croatia. playing freely, house, disco, gospel with a heart warming message.

Chez has a style that is hard to put your finger on, as Rio 017 well demonstrates. Recorded on the opening night of Bonanza, Chez kicked the terrace into action with a chuggy but cheerful selection of swampy groovers. 

Moving seamlessly from heads down tech house to breaks and EBM-ish numbers, Rio 017 is peppered with flecks of acid, swaying basslines and plenty of character. 

One to keep the summer flowing xx
