"The Heartthrob Project" is a collection of songs written by 19-year-old Troy Garrick. These songs emphasize and express the feelings of being young and in a relationship. The project focuses heavily on an upbeat R&B/Hip-Hop sound with songs such as "Together (We Look Good)" &  "I Know" featuring his musical mentor, Doddy. Still, there are genre mixing tracks included such as "Love Letter" giving an additional variety of emotion.
