Hi, I'm Tom - I was really really emotional when I recorded this. It's the most emotional song I ever did, it's raw and I felt sad at the time. 

** Audio quality -I've never publicly posted any songs. I never intended to post publicly when I recorded however any feedback will encourage me to pursue music further. Dependent on feedback I'd look at recording far better polished versions of the songs you hear & post for anyone interested in the newer improved versions!

Also, thanks so much for having a listen... Any and all feedback is genuinely greatly appreciated. For me, just knowing there are a few people that are listening and like some of what I've made over the years means a lot.

I recorded a lot of the songs from a Casio MZ 2000 my old keyboard, I've never been to a studio and only ever played for a select few family members and a couple of friends.

It's taken a long long time for me to post anything for anyone. I've had no piano/music lessons and make pieces that come to my head as and when.

After achieving victory in the 'Sound of Summer' contest hosted on Metapop (The last year it was active), I am thrilled to finally share my winning song with the world on SoundCloud. This track embodies the warmth and nostalgia of summertime. A harmonious blend of sunshine and melody, capturing the essence of summer in every note.

The lyrics are very cliche ;-) . But its taken out of context of a full song, too fit in for a summer song. The full song will probably be released in the next decade.

I've been playing keyboard for a long time and I create original pieces. I have always kept my music to myself apart from close family and friends.

After many years...the pieces posted here are the result... of finally sharing with others!

I've never had a music lesson and don't know how to read music. I make music at home, have never had studio time and am really interested to engage with others, learn and get further inspiration to make more music!
