A composition I started writing almost at the same time as my first Nocturne, when both were part of an extremely long and bizarre fantasy, and thus they both share very few of the same and almost unnoticable textures and motivic figures, although they are completely different in character and form from one another. 

In comparison with my second Nocturne, which is quite a pensive and somber work, this one is rather stormy, bordering on fury during the climax in the middle section, where the music shifts from E minor to C minor, and then a ray of hope appears in E-flat major, which is almost as far as one can get from E minor.

Sadness Within

"Herself Forgotten" by Jeremias Langsämmer is a masterful piano composition that immerses listeners in a chilling horror experience. The track opens with an insistent, sinister ostinato that sets an eerie and foreboding tone. This repetitive motif, played in the lower register of the piano, establishes a haunting atmosphere that grips the listener with an unshakeable sense of dread.

As the piece progresses, layers of dissonant harmonies and sharp, sporadic high notes heighten the tension, evoking the unsettling unpredictability of a horror scenario. The music then transitions into a deceptive midsection, where the disquieting motifs give way to a more peaceful and serene passage. First I used a sample of vocals from a sample library for a melodic techno track of mine. The vocals for this other track received very good comments, so I then went looking for the singer who sang these vocals. That's how I came across the wonderful Enlia. She then provided me with the vocals for this track, even though she had already released the song herself. She wrote the lyrics and the whole song. In any case, please also listen to the original on Enlia's profile, she has such a beautiful voice and makes such good recordings.

 I create original pieces.  I have always kept my music to myself apart from close family and a select few friends. I only post on Sound Cloud and for whatever reason I verry much struggle with self advertisement ( if anyone else struggles with this I'd be interested to know!)

All the music I make is recorded live in one go. No editing etc. ( I'm severely technologically challenged haha!)

After many years ...the pieces posted here are the result... of finally sharing with others! 


I normally mess about with random sounds on the keyboard and then just start adding bits and that's it. Alot of what I've made is off the cuff and Some I forget how to play once I've made them as I have so many random ideas lol.

I've never had a music lesson and don't know how to read music. I make songs at home, have never had studio time and am really interested to engage with others, learn and get further inspiration to make more music!
