There is a lovely Golden Age-sheen to this swaying ballad by London-based duo Amelia Rivas and Christian Pinchbeck that I find irresistible. The couple have been recording together as Elephant for nearly three years now and their latest pair of singles come after a near break-up and the subsequent resolution. Gracing the club this week, is new work from Copenhagen bedroom pop
mastermind, Benjamin Eroglu - better known as Eerie Glue. Under the EG
moniker he’s put out a number of great EP’s perfectly suited for lonely evenings and introspective train journeys as well as a recent split EP with our very own Joey Fourr.

Whereas past offerings have seen Eerie Glue‘s heartfelt utterings relayed over gooey layers of fuzz; ‘Go‘ showcases a cleaner sound akin to some of the best part‘s of the most recent Kurt Vile LP. Thankfully the songwriting technique has remained, which Benjamin describes as “straight from the top of my head and out through my heart”. As with many of his previous songs ‘Go‘ is about love, but particularly about moving on to something better. It was written in 20 minutes, recorded in his Copenhagen bedroom and will feature on a forthcoming EP so grab a free download whilst you still can!

my solo album from 2013 was called HUSH NOW,super proud of it and pleased with how it came out. before i finished it the way it was in fact released i inended it to be even more sublte. something in the vein of a record u could play in the background like wallpaper, nothing to jagged or jarring... thought that maybe people could use something like that. but then i found people didnt really have the time or patience to listen like that. so after going way out of my way to make it sublte, i kind of hired myself as a producer to build it up and make more of an event out of everything. me and my father wrote all these songs together at really focused time in my lefe and i learn a lil something about songs rather than tracks in the process. figured it was worth puting up if anyone wants to dip in. cheers, enjoy 
(oh wait, also it may seem a bit more sad without "bells and whisltes" but know that it all work out lovely...
