Catch Mortar is a song thats named after a verse that I took out actually. In another verse about it being early July, basically a story of going around to my buddy Taylor’s place as we set off some brolic fireworks I had  procured out of state. We set them off and then as we realized the mortar was raining down around us, I think either one  of us caught a piece or nearly “caught” a piece if you know what I mean. Like you might catch a right hook. Anyway thematically the name still fits the arc of the other verses, about having so much fun you might just get hurt. A love so real it turns dangerous.
