‘Thousand Stars' is the first collaborative single from the two Swedish indie artists Francis Moon and The Hollow Men. The labelmates and friends had long wanted to join forces together on a song, and a lack of creativity from both during the pandemic led to the duo experimenting with ideas over video calls. This motivated both artists to find joy in creating again and the result is a fresh, upbeat, melancholic tune that emphasizes the strongest sides of their individual sounds.

"The song has really pushed us both as artists, to improve creatively as songwriters and to dare to try new things such as structure, instruments, and other small details. It is easy to create the same thing repeatedly, but that is not really pushing yourself as a songwriter” Francis says. 

It is a song that takes you back to a time before the pandemic; where the spring season was a time full of light and hope… but most of all, it speaks to a desire to have certainty in a time of doubt. ‘Thousand Stars’ is the perfect soundtrack to a spring like no other.
