Coming from a musical family, Thijs Eggen (Thrax) started developing his musical skills from a very early age. His uncle lent him a guitar at the age of ten, which he never let go of. Three years later, Thrax discovered the world of Electronic Dance Music (EDM).

Influenced by artists like Dyro and Vluarr, Thrax began his musical journey producing trap songs before transitioning to his signature Bass House sound. 2020 marked his first major release ‘Push The Limit’ which gained over 40.000 streams worldwide on No Copyright Trap.

Thrax marked yet another milestone in 2022 by signing with his first booking agency Grand Events. By 2023, he secured representation with two booking agencies leading to nearly 30 national performances each year. Meanwhile Thrax kept producing unique Bass House songs which resulted in more than 10.000 Spotify streams in 2024 alone.

During the spring of 2024 Thrax played his first major festival (Batavierenfestival) in front of over 4000 raving students. After this successful live performance Thrax shows no signs of slowing down. With multiple Bass House tunes lined up for 2025, Thrax keeps consistently carving out his place in the EDM scene.
