Hungry For Love was written specially for the Hallowe'en 2011 edition of Bedtime Stories, a storytelling night run by London-based interior designer David Carter, proprietor of boutique hotel 40Winks http://www.40winks.org/

Bowler Hat, written and performed on ukulele by Tricity Vogue.

Bowler Hat was written for the winner of the first Uke Of Edinburgh Award of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival 2012, Linsey McRobie, who chose the song's topic on the night of her victory, Thursday 2 August 2012.  The song was premiered on the following night, Friday 3 August 2012. Linsey filmed the performance and posted it on YouTube: http://youtu.be/64IdL0wBuZU

Bowler Hat

"Guess What It Is" written and performed on ukulele by Tricity Vogue.

Guess What It Is was written for the joint winners of the Uke Of Edinburgh Award on Saturday 4 August 2012 DeAnne Smith and Ben Jones. Smith and Jones chose the topic of "aubergine" for their victor's song. The song was premiered at the following night's show, Sunday 5 August.

Guess What It Is

"Pet Assassinator" written and performed on ukulele by Tricity Vogue, with help from an anonymous percussionist.

Pet Assassinator was written for the winners of the Uke Of Edinburgh Award on Tuesday 7 August 2012, Susan Harrison and Sarah-Louise Young, who asked Tricity to write a happy song about pet death for their victor's song. The song was premiered at the following night's show on Wednesday 8 August.

All the pets mentioned in the song are real pets from Tricity's childhood, with the exception of Squid, who belongs to her Edinburgh landlords. Squid also features in the song Tricity wrote at the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe for her stage manager, Rhian Kennedy: http://soundcloud.com/tricity-vogue/squint-eye-squid

Pet Assassinator

To commemorate the closure of the Neve room at Fortress Studios in late 2011, this is the last recording I ever made there at the recording party I held that Halloween. 'Fortress Of Love' is an ode to the studio, and was written and recorded in about two hours by some of the people who loved it most.

Love to Natasha Springer for coming up with the lyrics on the fly *IN ONE TAKE*, Elliot Stubbs for drumming, Simon Pilton on bass, Owen Martin on guitar, Michael Gatenby on piano, Phil Brillo, Nathan Fustec, Muz McHattie and Marc Waterman for assisting me, Tricity Vogue and numerous others on backing vocals, and Shaun Harvey for creating a legend.
