Hot on the heels of Part One, Patrick Topping announces ‘Trick Presents Lethal Bangers Vol. 2 (Part 2)’, out on 20th June 2025. With the first half of the V/A already found in the record bags of big names like Gorgon City, MEDUZA, and Tony Romera, Part Two delivers another masterclass in big room-bothering dancefloor anthems. Contributions come from Trick regulars Gabriele Toma, Gettoblaster, Dale Howard, Splonie, Matt Hibbert, and fresh blood, including Kevin Knapp, Blaise Bracic, Tactics, and Winter Games.

Patrick Topping and his Trick imprint’s influence can be heard across charts, terraces, and radio waves worldwide. Founded in 2019, Trick has long been at the forefront of modern dance music, providing a home to an array of breakout talents and diverse sounds like Ben Hemsley, Hannah Laing, and Ewan McVicar.

Named ‘Best British DJ’ at the 2022 DJ Mag awards and currently heading into his third consecutive residency at Hï Ibiza, Topping remains one of the most in-demand DJs in the world. Multi genre duo who live together, love together and channel that love for each other into their love for the music.
Hailing from Newport, South Wales, UK. SO/SH are a couple who channel their love for each other and the music into their high energy DJ sets. 
Their seperate aliases (SPCTRM & Sweet Dee) formed into a duo which has shown no signs of stopping. 
Together they hold 16 years experience and from their seperate aliases they have played the likes of Ministry of Sound, London Sound Academy, Stokes Croft Block Party representing Lady of The House and various spots in Ibiza (including Ibiza Rocks).

Together, they have smashed the scene with 2025 being a big year supporting the likes of Maddix, Billy Gillies & Vikkstar on their UK Tours. They have played for infamous brands such as I Am A Raver & Hellfire. High profile venues SO/SH have played at include District (Cardiff), Motion (Bristol) and have also made their mark in Amsterdam as part of the ADE events.

Trick is an acclaimed dance music label and event brand owned and curated by global dance music icon, Patrick Topping.

The Newcastle native launched Trick in 2019 as a platform to spot and champion emerging artists, both in the studio and behind the decks. Since then, Trick has become one of the scene's most popular underground dance music event brands and record labels, launching the careers of some of the UK's biggest ticket-sellers and creating a cult fan following along the way.

As a record label, Trick is set to his 100 releases in 2024 and has given an outlet to many new signings who have since become some of the fastest-rising stars in the UK, such as Ben Hemsley, Hannah Laing and Ewan McVicar, who delivered platinum-certified “Tell Me Something Good” along the way. 

Trick's loyal fanbase has become one of the most passionate communities in dance music, with fans sporting Trick's signature lightning bolt on merchandise and tattoos at events throughout the UK and beyond. From completing a 9-date residency in 2022 at Ibiza's legendary DC10, to hosting a stage at EDC Orlando 2022, to attracting 10,000 ravers to The Warehouse Project in Manchester and bringing thousands to an Australian Debut in Melbourne in 2023. Then there is the Trick Weekenders, Budapest in 2022 and Tenerife in 2023. These events both saw 2,500 Trick Troops holiday and party together abroad, with Trick Tenerife this year set to double in size.

In 2024 Patrick is set to give back to his roots, bringing legions of fans to his hometown of Newcastle this summer 2024 with the launch of Trick Fest. Trick will also return to Ibiza, hosting a four-date residency in Hï’s Theatre on Wednesdays.

Biography

From a young age, Wez aka Yellody, had a passion for music, playing drums in school and developing an interest in music production and DJing. He began DJing at age 15, mastering vinyl turntables and securing gigs at local nightclubs like Cricketeers, Maximes, and Pada Lounge in his hometown of Wigan.

In 2014, Yellody took his skills overseas, securing residencies in popular holiday resorts like Malia, Crete, and Ayia Napa, Cyprus, where he performed for thousands of partygoers nightly. This led to an opportunity to open for the Popstar EXAMPLE.

Rise as a Producer

Returning to the UK, Yellody continued DJing at notable venues like Sankeys in Manchester, supporting acts like Chuckie and Michael Woods (OFFAIAH). In 2015, he secured a residency at Wigan's renowned house music club, The Attic, playing alongside international DJs like Tom Staar, Corey James, and D.O.D. "I like to re-invent old sounds and experiment a lot with samples from all genres and put my own stamp on things, if any producers or singer/ songwriters would like to collab to get in touch, also any remix enquiries to get in touch, please".

During this time, Yellody focused on producing his own tracks, teaching himself production on FL Studio. His music gained attention from top 100 DJs like Ummet Ozcan and Sander Van Doorn, who featured his tracks on their radio shows.

Major Label Signing

Rebranding as PATIØN in 2016, he shifted to a commercial deep house sound. In 2017, he achieved a major career milestone by signing with Armin van Buuren's influential Armada Music label. Subsequent releases included tracks on Paul Oakenfold's Perfecto Records and collaborations with vocalists like Jake O'Neill and Damon C. Scott.

In the following years, Wez changed his name to Yellody and continued releasing on labels like Sirup Music, Noface Records, and Perfect Havoc - The label is responsible for breaking the UK producer Joel Corry who received three Brit Award nominations - with chart success in Germany and support from tastemakers worldwide.
