With a heritage spanning France, Africa, South Asia, and the UK, London-based duo SUNANA’s diverse roots shape their signature sound. Their unique fusion of Tech House, Afro Latin, and South Asian flavours is designed to unite music lovers and dance floors around the world.

Their story began when the pair met in London, quickly gaining recognition for their high-energy sets and productions. With releases on the likes of Sony Music and Junior Jack’s Adesso Music, their music has earned the support of key players in the industry, such as Jamie Jones, Black Coffee, Arielle Free, and Vintage Culture, while their club hit ‘Quimbara’ was famously sampled by Barry Can’t Swim and landed as BBC Radio 1’s #1 Hottest Record, with spins from Pete Tong, Danny Howard, and Sarah Story.

Their passion for music extends beyond the studio. As hosts of their popular The Vibe Arrived radio show, which they launched in 2020, they welcome high-profile guests each week, including the likes of Martin Garrix, Oliver Heldens, Hugel, AMÉMÉ, and Maz, while their performances have taken them to some of the world’s most iconic venues, from Ministry of Sound and Pacha to Glastonbury and Wembley Arena.

With 10 million YouTube views, 500k SoundCloud streams, and multiple Top 10 charting releases, their impact continues to grow. Their remix work for Adesso, Salto Sounds, Freakin’ 909, and Juicy Music has further cemented their place in the scene, while their label The Vibe Arrived, founded in 2023, has quickly established itself as a home for carefully curated releases which connect with listeners across cultures and continents.

I'm a bit of retro zouk specialist (checkout my zouk show on My Analog Journal for more) but also have a great interest in soca, highlife, makossa, PALOP music, bubblegum, kwaito, latin freestyle and beyond - I enjoy celebrating globally sourced groovy records to fill dancefloors, and deliver an experience that makes club goers smile while they move

My mission is to spread this wonderful music and the talented artists that contributed to its creation with as many as people as possible! 

I run a clubnight and reissue / edits label along with a few friends called “Discothèque Tropicale”. Music to bring the boogie, fill the floors and put smiles on faces!

Jackson Wahengo is Namibia's most celebrated guitarist. His music is heavily rooted in the African tradition, blended with contemporary urban sounds and strong influences of jazz, rumba, zouk and reggae – Afropop/folk in a new shape and form – a musical fusion that has proven attractive to the audiences.

The music has its very own sense of rhythm expressed in strong harmonies and skilful guitar riffs, typical for southern Africa and yet blended with ultra-contemporary sounds and flavoured by traditional Namibian rhythms and song. It’s a horde of influences performed in compositions full of layers and detail that in a groovy way come together as one, reflecting experience and depth. The result is an infectious and groovy mix of contemporary Afropop and Folk that is yet genuinely universal.

The songs are performed in Oshikwanyama and the lyrics are poetically telling stories about contemporary and traditional Namibian society and politics, building on old Owambo proverbs.
